Before
Bernie takes the stage on Tuesday night for the second Democratic debate, we’re
hoping to get as many debate watch parties as possible for our supporters.
These
debate watch parties are a fun way to watch the debate, cheer on Bernie, and
make connections with your community to win this election.
Hundreds
of our most dedicated activists are hosting parties for other Bernie supporters
in their communities — some in their homes, others in any place with a TV or
internet connection. We’re hoping to get another debate watch party for Bernie
supporters in Seekonk.
Hosting
a debate watch party is incredibly important for electing Bernie – they help
people hear Bernie's message on national television, and then become active
volunteers in your community.
Your
first step is choosing a location for your event. Most supporters like you open
up their homes or host in another venue with a television or internet
connection.
Once
you sign up, you’ll be able to set a limit for the number of guests who can
RSVP, choose whether to list your event as public or private, and email your
guests telling them what to bring.
You’ll
also receive a guide with all of the information you’ll need to make your event
a success.
This
is an important thing you can do to help organize for Bernie. Can you host a
debate watch party on Tuesday?
In
solidarity,
Team
Bernie
