DAVID –
During Tuesday’s Democratic debate, moderators failed to ask a single question about
the climate crisis. Of the 12 candidates on stage, Tom spent the most time
talking about climate, and he was the only candidate to address our climate
emergency in a substantive way.
We have no “Planet B.” Tom has promised to declare the climate
crisis a national emergency on day one of his presidency. He’s prepared
to use emergency powers to effect meaningful changes right away if
Congress fails to pass legislation in the first 100 days of his
administration. This conversation is too important to ignore — every
candidate must present and debate their solutions to address the most
important international problem that we’re facing before it’s too late.
Thank you,
Tom 2020 |
