Time and time again she has failed our students and public schools -- so we're collecting 1,000 signatures to call for her resignation. Will you add your name? To date, DeVos has: Rolled back protections for students of color and LGBT students Proposed cutting funding for the Special Olympics and childhood literacy programs Refused to follow the law and bar schools from using federal money to buy guns Gutted Title IX protections for student survivors of assault and harassment The job of the U.S. Secretary of Education is to make sure every school is equitable, accessible, and high-achieving. DeVos, however, has put partisan politics, for-profit colleges, and predatory lenders ahead of our students.
