TIME TO GET SERIOUS...WHY ARE THE DEMOCRATS CELEBRATING? THEY CONNED YOU GOOD.

It's 2023, and even 7 years or so after a rigged election gave an undeserving Donald Trump the White House, the Democrats are still finding ways to allow the Far-Right Fascists that run the GOP to achieve success that competent opposition should have prevented.

How the seeming mishandling of the election for Speaker Of The House Of Rep. by the GOP could turn into a key victory for them points to the continuing lack of proper leadership that has plagued the Democrats for years. For every victory by Progressives and Liberals throughout the U.S. is achieved, other elements, such as the Incredible Incompetence of the Democratic Leadership in States such as Florida and Texas, often negate very positive outcomes elsewhere.

Now we come to the election of the Speaker.

We knew the following going in;

- The GOP held a small majority, so the speaker was coming from their ranks.

- That the Mid-Term results were a major defeat for the Rep. Party. The so-called

"RED WAVE" never came ashore, and Donald Trump Endorsed Candidates were 

defeated regularly in both State and Federal Elections.

With the Senate Remaining in Democratic Hands, what could the GOP do to bolster the

FASCIST and TREASONOUS ELEMENT of the Party so that they could remain the party

of Putin and Trump, with Ideological heroes in Hitler and Stalin?

Why get the opposition to do it for them.

The First Vote, and the Subsequent Dozen or so Votes following showed McCarthy with the support of 

around 200 members of the GOP, with the TREASON CAUCUS SUPPOSEDLY REFUSING TO 

BACK HIM. That left him short of the needed votes. The Democrats rejoiced.

WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE WAS: REALIZE THAT WHEN MCCARTHY MADE HIS 

FIRST INITIAL "CONCESSION" TO THE FAR-RIGHT ELEMENT OF THE GOP, AND NONE OF

THE OTHER "ANGRY" 200 MCCARTHY SUPPORTERS VOICED ANY OPPOSITION TO THAT

CONCESSION, THAT THEY WERE BEING SCAMMED. THIS WAS REINFORCED WHEN NO 

OTHER MEMBER OF THE GOP MOUNTED ANY SERIOUS OPPOSITION. (HOW THAT RED 

FLAG WAS IGNORED IS MIND-BOGGLING)

MCCARTHY WAS THE GUY FROM THE BEGINNING, BUT THE DEMOCRATS FELL FOR IT 

HOOK, LINE, AND SINKER. THEY COULD VOTE ALL DAY FOR A DEMOCRAT TO BE 

HOUSE SPEAKER, BUT THAT WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN, AND THEY SHOULD HAVE 

KNOWN THAT.

WHEN THE FIRST CONCESSION WAS ANNOUNCED, THE DEMOCRATS SHOULD HAVE

REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND DONE THIS:

EITHER:

GO UP TO MCCARTHY, TELL HIM TO KNOCK IT OFF OR:

- THEY WOULD FIND AS MODERATE A REPUBLICAN AS POSSIBLE, AND NOMINATE THAT

PERSON AS A REASONABLE ALTERNATIVE TO TRUMPIANS AND FASCISM. WITH ALL 

DEMOCRATS ON BOARD, IT WOULD NEED ONLY A HANDFUL OF GOP REPS. FOR 

VICTORY.

OR

- ANNOUNCE THAT THEY WERE WITHDRAWING THEIR OPPOSITION TO MCCARTHY, NOT 

BECAUSE HE WAS A DECENT AND HONEST POLITICIAN, (HE'S NOT), BUT BECAUSE THE 

EXTREMIST ELEMENTS OF THE GOP WERE USING THIS TO SPREAD TRUMPIAN AND 

FASCIST CONTROL OVER THE HOUSE OF REP., SOMETHING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAD

DECISIVELY REJECTED, BY HAVING MCCARTHY OFFER "CONCESSIONS" TO HIS OWN 

PARTY.

DEMOCRATS, WHY ARE YOU CELEBRATING? THEY MADE FOOLS OF YOU.
