What is really disturbing is the Devious way members of the Judiciary are trying to install a specific set of MORAL AND ETHICAL GUIDELINES INTO THE U.S. LEGAL SYSTEM. Often these "GUIDELINES" are little more than a REFLECTION OF THE RELIGIOUS FAITH AND BELIEFS OF A SELECT GROUP OF CITIZENS.
Now this "SELECT" group of Americans has little desire to allow every other Citizen the opportunity to choose Their own Set of Moral Principles to live by, because, in truth, the CONSTITUTION IS THEIR ENEMY, AND THEY HATE IT.
These RELIGIOUS FASCISTS don't want UNIVERSAL FREEDOMS FOR ALL, JUST THOSE WHO OBEY WHAT THEY CONSIDER TO BE "GODS" LAW.
WHAT IS "GODS" LAW? Ask them, and they'll tell you. You see, They speak for the Ultimate Power in the Universe. Proof? It's Faith Alone, and their own version of interpreting scripture. What about other Systems of Belief? Well, others can believe what they want, to a certain degree, just don't translate that belief into actions. That is when "GODS" POLICE WILL COME CALLING.
Doing this overtly would be nearly impossible, for it would mean amending the Constitution. They need a source that can bypass such trivialities as PRECEDENT, DOCTRINE, LOGIC, CRITICAL THINKING, HUMAN RIGHTS,etc. Well, they have found it: MEMBERS OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION WHO ARE WILLING TO THROW PROFESSIONAL AND INTELLECTUAL ETHICS OUT THE WINDOW, FOR THE POWER AND PRESTIGE OF SITTING ON THE BENCH.
(How prestigious it is could be a matter of debate. A Fraud is still a Fraud, a Buffoon is still a Buffoon, a Traitor is still a Traitor, no matter what you wear to work.)
Consider the following, FROM ARTICLE 6 OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION:
"...but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."
What does that mean, and how does it help us?
IT MEANS THAT NO ONE, NO ONE, HAS TO PASS ANY KIND OF "RELIGIOUS TEST" TO HOLD ANY PUBLIC OFFICE IN THE U.S. YOU CAN BE CHRISTIAN, MOSLEM, JEWISH, HINDU, BUDDHIST, ANIMIST etc., In fact, you can be ATHEIST, AGNOSTIC, OR JUST HAVE NO SET OF BELIEFS AT ALL. YOU CAN NOT BE BARRED FROM WORKING FOR THE PUBLIC TRUST BECAUSE OF YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS
Now, think about it. If one does not have to pass a "RELIGIOUS TEST" to work in an occupation that must, by its very nature, affect the Public in General, THAN THE ETHICS OR MORAL CODE THAT GOES ALONG WITH DOING THE JOB CORRECTLY DOES NOT COME FROM RELIGIOUS FAITH. IT CAN'T...
