New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday morning that when the U.S. took prayers out of schools, guns replaced them.
"When we took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools," he said to applause from religious leaders at the annual Interfaith Breakfast in Manhattan.
HERE ARE MY TWO ANSWERS:
#1- It goes to show you Religious Zealotry/Fascism is color blind. By the way, Genuis, Prayer has never been outlawed in any Public Schools. Government Sponsored Time for Prayer has been eliminated. I guess School Prayer would have protected Sandy Hook, right?
#2- Further, why don't we look at the Deadliest School Shootings? Were they caused by a lack of prayer, or individuals who had access to Firearms because of the "GUNS FOR EVERYONE" mentality of the GOP. FORCE PEOPLE TO PRAY, BUT MAKE SURE THEY'RE WELL-ARMED. BRILLIANT.
THIS IS A PICTURE OF A REAL TRAGEDY, ONLY MADE WORSE BY SMUG SELF-SERVING POLITICIANS WHO IGNORE THE REALITY OF "GUNS FOR EVERYONE" AND POLITICIANS WHO THRIVE ON MESSAGES OF HATE.
