renewable energy and responsible stewardship. When she was in the State Senate,
she sponsored legislation that would expand consumers’ access to community
solar energy, mandate quicker reporting on hazardous spills in Virginia
waterways, and broaden the powers of the Department of Environmental Quality to
go after polluters.
