The past few weeks have been nothing short of inspirational. I have been in awe as young people – from Parkland to Springfield – have walked out, organized for change, and demanded action on gun violence prevention. This incredible movement shows us that young people are not only the future – they are the present and they are a force to be reckoned with.
This Saturday, the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts is proud to participate in March for Our Lives events in Boston, Worcester, and Springfield. Join us to remember the countless lives we have lost to gun violence and stand in solidarity with those leading the fight for change.
We recognize gun violence is a public health crisis – and many of the communities Planned Parenthood serves are disproportionately affected by gun violence, including women, people of color, and LGBTQ people. By working together to prevent gun violence, we can better ensure that Planned Parenthood patients can lead healthier, safer lives.
