Commit to hosting a Watch Party. KAMALA HARRIS.

David,
Just last week, Kamala was up on the Democratic debate stage fighting hard and sharing her
positive vision for our country -- and we couldn’t be more proud.

During the debate, thousands of Kamala supporters gathered at more than 200 house parties
around the country to cheer her on -- some in living rooms, some at bars, fired up to work
for the change our country needs.
As you know, there’s another Democratic debate just around the corner at the end of July,
and we need to start organizing now to make it even bigger and better than the last one.

We don’t know which night Kamala will take the stage -- either July 30 or July 31 --
but that won’t stop us from organizing now. It’s clear the debate will be another big
moment for our campaign. The more people get to know Kamala, the stronger our
movement grows.

It’s a pretty simple equation: more people hearing directly from Kamala
on the debate stage = more momentum for our movement.

Once you sign up to host, our team will be in touch to make sure you’ve got
everything you need to host a successful event -- whether it’s your first political
event or your 100th.
We know we can count on Kamala to do her job on the debate stage.
— Team Kamala

OUTRAGED AND HEARTBROKEN. JENNIFER WEXTON.

David,

The recent images at the border and at migrant detention centers should outrage everyone. As a long-time advocate for abused children, I am heartbroken. Our government’s actions are inflicting severe trauma, and we need to fix this situation immediately.

The Trump administration has put families in utterly inhumane conditions. We’ve seen shocking reports of overcrowded facilities lacking basic necessities, such as clean water.

I am ashamed of what’s been done in America’s name to those seeking a better life here. We can be a nation of laws and still treat other human beings with dignity.

I support intensive oversight and a full investigation by Congress into the mistreatment of migrant children. Those who let the situation reach this point must be held accountable.

I ask that we all think of our shared humanity in this moment. That we value compassion. And that we reject the hateful rhetoric that’s been designed to divide us and demonize those at the border.

We are better than this.

Thinking about patriotism today. AMY KLOBUCHAR.

Doing the right thing isn’t always easy. That’s a lesson our country’s founders knew well. When they gathered to sign the Declaration of Independence they risked everything for the promise of America.

And it paid off -- we became one nation bound together by a commitment that everyone is created equal.

We’ve sometimes fallen short of that promise, but over the decades and centuries, we’ve gotten closer and closer to making it a reality.

But right now, like many of you, I watch dismayed as the forces of division and hate try to convince us that our neighbors are our enemies.

Well, I believe there is still more that unites us as Americans than separates us. I’ve gone from state to state and town to town talking to people from all walks of life -- they’re ready to move forward and keep making progress.

I mean it when I say I want to be a president for everyone.

As I’m celebrating today, I’ve been thinking about patriotism. I’ve been thinking about taking risks for something bigger than yourself. And I’ve been thinking that the work this team has done is yet another example of what we can do when we work together.

Happy Fourth of July,
Amy.

This Independence Day. JENNIFER WEXTON.

David,

Today we honor the 243rd anniversary of a document that changed the course of history and laid the foundation for the great nation we have today. We celebrate the spirit of a people who spoke truth to power and determined their own destiny.

We reflect upon the words, written by a Virginian, that speak of our inalienable rights -- to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And we recommit to doing all we can so that every American can share in the promise of these rights.

It is the highest honor of my life to fight for our country’s values as a member of Congress. I know that our challenges are great, but today, I am reminded of just how far we’ve come. And I am more hopeful than ever that we will rise to the duty of making our nation fairer, safer, and more prosperous.

I wish you and yours a happy Independence Day.

Sincerely,

Jennifer.
