David,
The role of money in politics is destroying America’s democracy. There's no other way to say it— the fact that political candidates across the country must spend more time raising money than listening to and helping their constituents or risk losing their election is anti-Democratic and undermines the integrity of our electoral process.
I don’t have years of relationships with developers or lobbyists who will fund my campaign to help their business interests, so I spend several hours a day fundraising to keep up with candidates who do. This is time that I could be spending connecting with Maryland voters and discussing their concerns and hopes for our state.
This is a terrible and unjust system, which is why my team and I have a bold, comprehensive plan that ends our current pay-to-play political system. Here's what we're going to do:
We're out to reform our political system by making candidates and campaigns all about the people they represent— NOT corporate cash.
Thank you,
-Alec Ross

Ending pay-to-play politics. GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE ALEX ROSS.
HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN TO THE EXCUSES? PART 1.
If I could say one thing about DONALD TRUMP, he is exactly as advertised.
Arrogant, Pompous, Oblivious, Filled with Hate etc., he is what we expected him to be. Now, to most of us, this Behavior is not what we want out of a leader, let alone POTUS.
However, those who help put him there, are getting exactly what they wanted.
Through all the LIES, MANIPULATION, AND DECEPTION, THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONVINCE ENOUGH AMERICANS, (But by no means a majority, or even close to it. For more information on the 2016 Election, and why I believe it was a SHAM, see my Articles and Posts on the subject.*), INTO BELIEVING THAT HE IS GOOD FOR THE THE U.S.
To the rest, you must come to realize that the reason TRUMP is in the position he is now, is founded in the fact that his supporters are united in their VIEW OF WHAT THE U.S. SHOULD BE, AND CARE NOTHING FOR WORKING, OR COMPROMISING WITH, ANY OPPOSITION. THEY MAY HAVE COME TO ULTRA-CONSERVATIVE/FAR RIGHT POLITICS BY THE APPEAL OF ONE PARTICULAR ISSUE, BUT WHEN YOUR OPINION IS BASED ON IRRATIONAL HATREDS AND PREJUDICES, IT CAN BE RELATIVELY EASY TO GET THAT MINDSET TO BE UNIVERSALLY APPLIED ON OTHER CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS.
LIBERALS, DEMOCRATS, PROGRESSIVES etc., have failed to put up a UNITED FRONT AGAINST THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT THEY, AND OTHERS LIKE THEM, SHOULD BE SOLE AUTHORITY ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE AMERICAN LEGAL SYSTEM.
All the Demonstrations, Marches, and Civil Disobedience will not change the minds of those who do not believe in CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, HUMAN RIGHTS, AND EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW.
Look at Donald Trumps recent NOMINATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS, AND ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION:
WHAT DO THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON? (ASIDE FROM THE REPUBLICAN PARTY).
See part 2.
*However, don't hold your breath waiting for the DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Apparently, Donald Trump can make all the accusations he wants about Voter Fraud, without any evidence, but even handing the Democrats evidence of DUBIOUS AND IRREGULAR VOTER COUNTS WILL NOT CAUSE THEM TO ACT.

Compassion, patriotism, and love. CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE KEN HARBAUGH.
David,
When I think of my mom, Kathy Harbaugh, I think about her independence -- she was an Air Force wife who raised two boys with a fighter-pilot husband gone much of the time.
I think about her compassion -- she was always adopting stray animals, like one-eyed Jack, the dog I spent my high-school years with.
I think about her courage -- like the time she crawled through the woods with a fractured femur bone, and got herself to help without once losing her cool.
I think about her patriotism -- how she has always believed that America must be a force for good in the world, and sent both of her sons into the military with that same love of country.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE PAT RYAN.
Hi David,
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there. I know everyone thinks their mom is the best mom, but my mom, Patti Ryan, is the sweetest person in the entire world. (I know a lot of people say this, but if you’ve met her, you know it’s true.) Today, I wanted to share a bit about the woman who raised me.
From an early age, she taught me to be curious about the world around me and have compassion for everyone in it. Throughout my life, she has always put others first and dedicated her entire life to our community as a first grade teacher at Chambers Elementary School in Kingston.
She taught me, and many others, how to read, to problem-solve, and to be kind to others. She opened up the entire world for the kids in her class and empowered them every chance she could.
While I was deployed in Iraq, my mom and her students would send care packages to my unit filled with snacks, supplies, drawings, and letters. I’ll never forget getting these in the mail and writing back to her students to thank them.
I know my mom always reads my campaign emails, so Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I wouldn’t be half the man I am today without your love and support throughout my life.
Also wishing Happy Mother's Day to my sister Courtney, who just gave birth to her second son. My nephews Alex and Owen are so lucky to have her as a mom. (And if you aren’t my mom or Courtney reading this: I hope you’re spending this Sunday with your loved ones. Happy Mother’s Day.)
Talk soon,
Pat
