HOW SOON WE FORGET...CLEANING UP AFTER 4 YEARS OF CORRUPTION.

The following is part of an online discussion I am having with a close friend, (About the Indictment of Steve Bannon for CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS), who expressed, (rightly so), the idea that such prosecutions may not end with the guilty being held accountable. While I understand the thought process that may lead to such an opinion, I have noticed a sentiment in a portion of the General Public to lay the blame for possible outcomes, ( Perceived to be Negative), at the feet of President Joe Biden, A.G. Merrick Garland, or just about anyone connected with this administration. To this, I say:

THE A.G. AND THE DEPT. OF JUSTICE CAN ONLY FILE CHARGES AND PROSECUTE. THE COURTS DECIDE THE REST. AS WE KNOW, JUDGES AND JURIES SOMETIMES LACK THE ABILITY AND/OR DESIRE TO RENDER DECISIONS AND VERDICTS THAT ARE IN LINE WITH ESTABLISHED LAW, EVIDENCE PRESENTED, OR THE RULES OF LOGIC. DON'T FORGET, TRUMP WAS ELECTED THROUGH BOGUS ELECTION RESULTS. THAT ALLOWED AN ILLEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TO SPEND 4 YEARS APPOINTING JUDGES ON THE FEDERAL LEVEL, NOT TO MENTION 3 JUSTICES OF THE U.S. SUPREME COURT. WHATEVER HAPPENS, IT WASN'T A.G. GARLAND OR TODAYS DEPT. OF JUSTICE THAT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRUMPS RISE TO POWER. HOWEVER, THEY HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES. SOME AMERICANS SEEM TO FORGET; 

- PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN HAS BEEN IN OFFICE ABOUT 10 MONTHS.

- ATTORNEY GENERAL MERRICK GARLAND WAS CONFIRMED IN MARCH. SO IN OFFICE ABOUT 7 MONTHS.

I THINK CLEANING UP 4 YEARS OF TRUMPIAN POLITICS DESERVES MORE TIME. (UNLESS FASCISM IS YOUR GUIDING LIGHT.)
