Dear DAVID, The global coronavirus outbreak has created myriad challenges for all of us, and philosophers have much to contribute to conversations about the pandemic and its consequences. To provide insight into some of these challenges from feminist perspectives, APA Newsletter on Feminism and Philosophy editor Lauren Freeman has organized a special issue of the newsletter: Feminist Responses to COVID-19 and Pandemics. THIS CORRUPT, INCOMPETENT JOKE WAS GIVEN THE WHITE HOUSE IN A RIGGED PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. EVEN WITH THE EVIDENCE APPARENT TO ANYONE PAYING ATTENTION, NOTHING WAS DONE. YOU WONDER WHY HE SAYS AND DOES THE THINGS HE DOES? WELL MAYBE HE, HIS REPUBLICAN ALLIES, AND MOSCOW FIGURED THAT SINCE THE DEMOCRATS AND PROGRESSIVES HANDED OVER THE SUPREME COURT WITHOUT A FIGHT, THAT A CORRUPT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION COULD BE MANAGED.

THEY WERE RIGHT. 
SO WHAT SHOULD TRUMP BE SCARED OF NOW? 
WHEN YOU ACTUALLY SHOW THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO STAND UP TO HIM, (AND NOT FOR PHOTO OPS AND GLIB ONE LINERS THAT ARE FORGOTTEN DAYS LATER), THEN MAYBE YOUR OUTRAGE MIGHT MEAN SOMETHING.
UNTIL THEN, YOU'RE NOT IMPRESSING ANYONE.

National Security Leaders for Biden. Maura Sullivan.

David,

I am proud to share with you a national effort that I have been involved in for months, made public this morning: National Security Leaders for Biden. We are 489 national security leaders-- Democrats, Independents, and Republicans-- who have served at the highest levels of government and the military, and together we have launched an Open Letter to America explaining why we support Joe Biden as the next President of the United States.

Our group includes more than 200 former General and Flag officers, 22 former four-star officers, many of my former Pentagon colleagues, and prominent Republicans. This list is historic in nature: never before have so many military and national security leaders from all political leanings publicly endorsed a political candidate. I am proud to be a part of this dedicated group of patriots, many of whom have risked their lives for our country and are now coming forward because of the stark and critical choice our nation faces in this election.  

I invite you to read our open letter here and ask that you please share it widely with your community. While doing so, please make sure that the friends and neighbors you are talking to are registered to vote and have a plan to vote.
