Can you take our short #NoMiddleGround survey? BERNIE SANDERS.

David -
Last weekend, Bernie gave a rousing speech at the California Democratic Party convention.
He talked about the fact that there can be no “middle ground” on issues like climate change, health care, and putting a stop to our endless wars.
We’ve included a large part of the speech below. But today, what we want to know is this: what are the issues you care about that there can be no middle ground on?
Here’s the part of the speech that went viral:
"We have got to make it clear that when the future of the planet is at stake, there is no “middle ground.” We will take on the fossil fuel industry and transform our energy system.

We have got to make it clear that when this country drifts toward oligarchy, there is no “middle ground.” Large profitable corporations like Amazon will pay their fair share of taxes.

When it comes to health care, there is no “middle ground.” Health care is a human right, not a privilege and we will guarantee health care to all of our people through a Medicare for All single-payer system.

When it comes to abortion, there is no “middle ground.” A woman has the right to control her own life, not the government.

When it comes to prescription drugs, no “middle ground.” We are going to take on the pharmaceutical industry and cut prescription drug prices in half.

And when it comes to mass shootings and the fact that 40,000 people were killed last year with guns, no “middle ground.” We will take on the NRA.

And when it comes to criminal justice reform and immigration reform, no “middle ground.” We will take on the prison-industrial complex. We will take on racism at the border.

And when it comes to foreign policy, no “middle ground.” We will finally put an end to a bloated military budget and end endless wars."
Take the short survey. Tell us the issues that you believe there can be no middle ground on:
This is important. We’ll make sure Bernie gets the results. So thank you for sounding off.
All our best,
Team Bernie

People are literally lining up out the door. AMY KLOBUCHAR.

David,

100 years ago today, Congress passed the 19th Amendment -- which was ratified by the states in 1920 -- stating that the right to vote should not be denied on the basis of sex. We’ve come a long way since then! But we still haven’t had a woman in the White House.

When people ask me if Amy can break this barrier, I tell them that breaking barriers is what she does best. When she first ran for Senate, Minnesota had never elected a woman senator. She had less in the bank than her opponent. But she won that race and every race after that because of her grit, energy and commitment to getting things done.

Now as Amy travels across the country, I see the enthusiasm for her candidacy grow every day. People are literally lining up out the door to hear her speak! And the polling shows her momentum grows with every person who hears her message.

As Amy likes to say, “May the best woman win.”

BREAKING DOWN THE MUELLER REPORT: DISHONESTY AND CORRUPTION CAN BE FOUND ANYWHERE.

Donald Trump, Cartoon, Donald, Trump

Sometimes it is amazing to see the degree of desperation that is used to RESCUE OR BAILOUT PROMINENT INDIVIDUALS FROM THE "REALITY" OF A GIVEN SITUATION. It could be creating "FACTS" or "TRUTHS" that can easily be refuted, or ignoring information that contradicts a desired or pre-determined conclusion.

If you have visited this site on a regular basis, my articles and posts on DONALD TRUMP MAKE CLEAR THAT HE IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF SAYING OR DOING JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO IGNORE THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTIONS, BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE. In addition, at least in Donald Trumps case, It is beneficial to have Allies who are willing to ignore Logic, Reason, or Duty in order to protect him from the Legal Consequences of his actions.

What do I mean? Well, the current controversy regarding the MUELLER REPORT is a perfect example.

When we discuss the Findings and Conclusions in the Special Counsels Report, it is necessary to set up Universal Guidelines that are applicable to all parts, and are not left to the Whims and Prejudices of whomever happens to be the Media Darling of the day, able to blurt out entertaining one liners that are of little value, unless undermining the strength of our CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC is your goal.

Make sure all Terms are properly defined, especially when it comes to possible allegations of criminal activity, or actions that interfered with the LEGAL OPERATION OF THE 2016 ELECTION.There is no way to properly assess conclusions, if one, both, or all sides are playing "SEMANTIC" Games.

THE SOURCE AND THE QUALITY OF EVIDENCE, EITHER PROVIDED TO, OR UNCOVERED BY, the Office of the Special Counsels Investigation, is assessed properly and openly. NO INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP, PUBLIC OR PRIVATE, CAN BE ALLOWED TO PASS JUDGMENT AND FORM PUBLIC POLICY FROM SUCH JUDGMENTS,WITHOUT PROPER JUSTIFICATION.
(AND NO...TAKING THE PRESIDENTS OR THE ATTORNEY GENERALS WORD IS NOT PROPER JUSTIFICATION.)

IT'S TIME FOR CONGRESS TO REMEMBER WHERE ITS CONSTITUTIONAL DUTIES LIE: ANY AND ALL  COMMITTEES OR AGENCIES, RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING AND SAFEGUARDING THE PUBLIC INTEREST, MUST MAKE A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION. FURTHER, THIS PROCESS MUST BE FREE OF INTERFERENCE FROM ANY OFFICIAL(S), ELECTED
OR APPOINTED.

ALL OFFICIALS; FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL AND ALL RELEVANT INDIVIDUALS OR AGENCIES MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR DECISIONS MADE. NO POLITICAL OFFICE HAS A CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD," WHERE ANY ACTIONS THEY TAKE ARE BEYOND SCRUTINY OR OVERSIGHT. This seems to be Donald Trumps and William Barrs way of thinking, but I don't buy into it, and hopefully neither will the majority of Americans.

THEY GAVE ALL THERE WAS TO GIVE...THAT IS THEIR LEGACY.

...IS OUR LEGACY GOING TO BE A BOGUS ELECTION,
WHERE THE ENEMIES OF THE U.S. ARE HANDED A
BLOODLESS VICTORY, WITH THE AID OF OUR
"ELECTED OFFICIALS."

THIS WEEKEND, WE MOURN. JENNIFER WEXTON.

David, my heart is heavy this weekend as Virginia Beach and the entire Commonwealth grieve for the victims of Friday’s mass shooting.

12 innocent people were murdered in a gun attack that involved a .45 silencer and multiple extended magazines. At a time when the NRA wants to expand access to silencers, we need to stop them. And we must recommit to our efforts to ban high capacity magazines.

Tragedies like this shouldn’t be the new normal. It’s long past time for us to party politics aside, reject the influence of the NRA, and pass common-sense policies that will reduce gun violence.

We can start with H.R. 8, which establishes universal background checks. The House passed this in the spring, but the Senate has yet to act. I renew my call today for them to do so.

The measures we’re proposing won’t stop every shooting. But we have to try. We owe it to every American to make our workplaces, schools, concerts, shopping malls, and communities safer.

Today, I mourn. Tomorrow, I will continue pushing for policies to end gun violence, and I won’t stop.

Thank you,

Jennifer
