I had hoped the DEMOCRATS would have the courage to do so, but they seem determined to perpetuate the SHAM THAT THIS ELECTION WAS, BACKED UP BY A MEDIA THAT HAS ABANDONED INTEGRITY, AND A REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT IS, WELL...

FEATURE ARTICLES. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD EVIDENCE, BAD EVIDENCE, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN? PT 1.


It is a Strange World, when you Realize that Three Common Topics Covered and Discussed on TELEVISION AND RADIO;

- POLITICS.

- PSEUDOSCIENCE.

- MEDICAL AND HEALTH ISSUES.

Subjects, Which on the Surface should have very little in common, ARE SATURATED WITH BOGUS AND UNTRUTHFUL CLAIMS AND CONCLUSIONS, WHICH ARE DERIVED USING THE SAME TYPES OF IRRATIONAL, ANTI- INTELLECTUAL, AND FAULTY REASONING THOUGHT PROCESSES.

Unfortunately, THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT THE MEDIA IS LOOKING FOR, IN THE HOPES OF INCREASED RATINGS. 

The result is that MANY OF THOSE WHO TUNE IN ARE LEFT WITH THE IMPRESSION THAT ANY ASSERTIONS MADE DURING THE PROGRAM ARE PROBABLY TRUE, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ONE TO OFFER REASONABLE ALTERNATIVE EXPLANATIONS THAT CONTRADICT THESE "TRUTHS."

I Believe that the Level of Success or Popularity these "SHOWS" Enjoy, can be Understood because of the following CHARACTERISTICS FOUND AMONG SOME OF THE VIEWING AUDIENCE:

- PREJUDICIAL ATTITUDES WHICH LOOK FOR JUSTIFICATION, NO MATTER
WHAT THE SOURCE.

- A SIMPLISTIC AND UNDISCIPLINED VIEW OF SCIENCE, AND THE
NATURAL WORLD.

- A FAITH OR BELIEF SYSTEM THAT IS SO TENUOUS, THAT IT
MUST NOT BE QUESTIONED.

- REFUSING TO CONFRONT ANY CONCLUSIONS THAT HAVE BEEN
MADE ON A PERSONAL BASIS, FOR FEAR OF WHAT IT MAY REVEAL.

...AND THE MOST TELLING OF ALL...

THAT ANY OPPOSITION, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION, ISSUE
OR DISAGREEMENT IS, REPRESENTS AN EVIL CONSPIRACY,
REGARDLESS OF THE LACK OF EVIDENCE.

FEATURE ARTICLES. THE SOCIOPATH- A DANGER ALL AROUND US. PT 16.

There is one thing that all Sociopaths have in common that sets them apart from the rest of HUMANITY, and I can't stress it enough;

THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO FEEL ANY EMPATHY TOWARDS ANOTHER PERSON. IT COULD BE A PARENT, CHILD, RELATIVE, CLOSE FRIEND, OR A COMPLETE STRANGER. THEY DONT UNDERSTAND FEELINGS SUCH AS LOVE, SADNESS, GUILT, WORRY ETC., EVEN WHEN THEY ARE PRESENT IN OTHERS. WHY? BECAUSE THESE ARE EMOTIONS THAT ARE FOREIGN TO THEM, SO THEY CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE REASONING TO ADAPT THEIR BEHAVIOR TO WHAT OTHERS ARE FEELING OR NEEDING AT A TIME OF CRISIS.

As we have seen, the Hierarchy of Sociopaths, is often measured by the Ability to Adapt their Behavior to what is expected. It is the Primary way of getting what they want, and the ability to remain unrecognized as Sociopathic, is how well they are able pull off this Deception.

However, keep one thing in mind. No matter how Genuine or Realistic their Behavior seems at times, especially when exhibited during times of Great Stress that others are going through, it is an Act. They are playing a Part, doing things that they believe are expected of them. The Turmoil and Emotional Mind Sets that are present among those involved in a given Conflict or Situation, are alien to the Sociopath. In Fact, the Sociopath considers such emotions as Flaws and Weaknesses, that make others Fair Game to Use and Exploit.

This leads to another Characteristic found among Sociopaths; A BELIEF THAT THEY ARE SUPERIOR BEINGS, NOT WEIGHTED DOWN BY CONSCIENCE, OR FEELINGS OF GUILT AND REMORSE. EVERYONE ELSE WHO FEELS SUCH THINGS, IS MENTALLY HANDICAPPED, AND DESERVES TO BE USED AND EXPLOITED.

Remember, that Sociopathy is not a MENTAL ILLNESS. There are no Biological or Chemical factors that have caused this World View. It is not the result of Genetics gone wild, or problems during Pregnancy. UNLIKE, THE PSYCHOPATH AND SCHIZOPHRENIC, WHO CAN BE DIAGNOSED AND TREATED, THE SOCIOPATH CANNOT BE "CURED" IN THE TRADITIONAL SENSE.

I have been using DONALD TRUMP, AND HIS FREQUENT APPEARANCES ON THE INTERNET,  AS EXAMPLES OF THE DIFFERENT WAYS CERTAIN MARKETERS TRY TO SELL PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES TO THE CONSUMER BY DISGUISING THE SALES PITCH AS A "NEWS" REPORT, ITEM, OR INVESTIGATION. IT IS A PRACTICE THAT RELIES ON THE GULLIBILITY, AND TRUST, OF SOME CONSUMERS WHO BELIEVE IN THE "INHERENT" TRUSTWORTHINESS OF THE NEWS MEDIA.

HOWEVER, THE DONALD TRUMP ADVERTORIALS ARE BY NO MEANS EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE, AND NEITHER HE, NOR THE BUSINESSES THAT USE HIS NAME, LIKENESS, AND "WORDS", ARE UNIQUE IN UTILIZING THIS DECEPTIVE SALES PITCH.

ADVERTORIALS are a common SALES AND MARKETING TECHNIQUE that inhabits every form of TRADITIONAL MEDIA that we come in contact with, often on a Daily Basis.

TV, RADIO, NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES etc., have been using them for years to Generate Income. (This includes the Internet of course.) However, It is important to Understand that the INFORMATION RELAYED BY SUCH PROGRAMS, STORIES, OR ARTICLES ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE EDITORIAL SCRUTINY OR OVERSIGHT THAT ARE FOUND IN GENUINE NEWS ITEMS.

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS AD SPACE, OR ON AIR TIME, THAT IS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY COMPANIES TRYING TO SELL YOU A PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
