For four years, Donald Trump used America’s immigration system to ruthlessly attack families seeking asylum at the US border, and break up immigrant families with deportations.

Last week, President Joe Biden called for a 100-day halt to deportations to begin to undo the damage.

But Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is fighting tooth and nail to continue Trump’s unpopular, ineffective, and violent immigration policies. He just won an injunction that will require the US to continue deportations.

Texas needs an AG who will fight for justice - not to deport families back into harm’s way. We need to show Paxton Texans condemn his attacks on human rights. Can you add your name to our letter condemning Ken Paxton’s attack on unfair and unjust immigration policy?

Donald Trump’s mass deportation machine broke up families, condemned thousands to return to places they left to flee violence, and violated human rights. Paxton is going all-out to continue these deportations.

Ken Paxton is under indictment for serious crimes. He is using taxpayer money to defend himself from whistleblower cases brought by seven of his deputies. He is a disgrace.

We need to show him that Texans won’t stand for immigration policies that break up families and violate human rights. Help us condemn Paxton now.

JUST "ONE" EXAMPLE OF DONALD TRUMPS DETERMINATION TO STAY IN POWER, NO MATTER WHAT.

The following exchange occurred during a White House Press conference on Wednesday, Sept 24, 2020.

 “Win, lose, or draw in this election, will you commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the election?” reporter Brian Karem asked Donald Trump, who didn’t even attempt to give the impression he cares whatsoever about preserving democracy. “Well, we’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump said. “You know that. I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster.” Pressed again to “commit to making sure that there’s a peaceful transferal of power,” Trump responded, “Get rid of the ballots and...we’ll have a very peaceful—there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There will be a continuation. The ballots are out of control. You know it. You know who knows it better than anybody else? The Democrats know better than anybody else.”

''...Pressed again to “commit to making sure that there’s a peaceful transferal of power,” Trump responded, “Get rid of the ballots and...we’ll have a very peaceful—there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There will be a continuation."

IN OTHER WORDS, DO WHAT I TELL YOU AND WE WON'T NEED A TRANSFER OF POWER, JUST A PEACEFUL CONTINUATION.

Serve America is devoted to supporting a new generation of service-oriented leaders who will put people over politics. In general, we raise for our candidates, rather than against their opponents.

But today, I’m doing something a little different—I’m launching an effort to defeat the so-called “Sedition Caucus,” those Members who voted against certifying the results of the 2020 presidential election based on lies and conspiracy theories. I hope you’ll join me in this effort to hold these Members accountable at the ballot box. I also hope you’ll take a few minutes to read my thoughts on the importance of this accountability, below.

Why we must defeat the Sedition Caucus

There is little that matters more to our democracy than the core tenets of free and fair elections and the peaceful transition of power.

We witnessed the resiliency of our democracy last week. Despite the lies, conspiracy theories, and threats of another attack on the U.S. Capitol, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took their oaths of office. Now, in the first week of their administration, we must hold accountable the Republicans in Congress who sought to undermine our free and fair elections.

In their desperation to ride the coattails of Donald Trump—a political phenomenon that has turned our politics upside down in recent years—almost 150 Members of Congress voted against certifying the results of the 2020 presidential elections. Their vote was not based on any evidence of wrongdoing or fraud; it was simply a refusal to acknowledge that their preferred candidate lost, fair and square.

The United States has some of the safest and most secure elections in the world. Trump’s own administration said that the 2020 election was “the most secure in history.” We have an extraordinary design of checks and balances that, although not without flaws, has allowed for the longest run of a democracy in human history.

Our Constitution enables us to fight for change without the need for violence. It allows us to come together, as Americans, when we identify problems with our government and our society and to correct our nation’s course.

That’s why our free and fair elections and the peaceful transition of power are so important. That’s why the siege on the U.S. Capitol earlier this month was an attack on American democracy itself. And that’s why we’re launching a fund today to defeat those Members who perpetrated lies about election fraud and voted to ignore the will of the American voters—this “Sedition Caucus”—at the ballot box. We must hold them accountable in the way that democracies do.

“How could this happen?” so many people have asked me. The attack that left five dead and forced myself, my staff, and my colleagues to shelter in a secure room shocked the nation and the world.

But this didn’t happen overnight. For two months, many of my Republican colleagues in the House and Senate have been lying to the American people. They failed to find the courage to stand up to Trump’s outrageous claim that the election was stolen from him, and they fed this lie to their supporters day in and day out.

Drunk on lies and conspiracy theories, and whipped up by the President himself at a rally that day on the National Mall, they marched on the Capitol and wreaked havoc on a pillar of our government.

Our democracy is bent but not broken. Our democracy is fickle but not fragile. It will endure—and America will endure. But only if we fight for it.

We are going to show the Sedition Caucus that there is an electoral price to pay for refusing their sacred duty as leaders and legislators. We are going to hold them accountable for abusing the public’s trust. Please, commit today to joining us.

Trump Pressed Justice Department to Go Directly to Supreme Court to Overturn Election Results

WASHINGTON—In his last weeks in office, former President Donald Trump considered moving to replace the acting attorney general with another official ready to pursue unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, and he pushed the Justice Department to ask the Supreme Court to invalidate President Biden’s victory, people familiar with the matter said.

Those efforts failed due to pushback from his own appointees in the Justice Department, who refused to file what they viewed as a legally baseless lawsuit in the Supreme Court. Later, other senior department officials threatened to resign en masse should Mr. Trump fire then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, according to several people familiar with the discussions.

NOW THIS MAY SEEM TO BE JUST A CASE OF TRUMPS MEGLOMANIA REFUSING TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS FAILED ATTEMPT AT REELECTION, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING:

REP. U.S. SENATOR LINDSAY GRAHAM WAS QUOTED IN THE MEDIA, SAYING THE FOLLOWING:

"People wonder about the peaceful transfer of power. I can assure you, it will be peaceful.... I promise you as a Republican, if the Supreme Court decides that Joe Biden wins, I will accept the result. The court will decide, and if Republicans lose, we'll accept the result."

LOOK CAREFULLY AT WHAT GRAHAM SAYS. HE DOES NOT SAY..."IF THE COURTS"...OR..."IF OUR COURT SYSTEM.." ...OR..." STATE, DISTRICT, OR APPELLATE COURTS." HE ONLY REFERENCES THE SUPREME COURT. IN OTHER WORDS, HE AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WILL ONLY ACCEPT THE DECISION MADE BY THE SUPREME COURT, LEAVING ALL OTHER JUDICIAL DECISIONS AS UNACCEPTABLE, AND NOT BINDING ON THEM.

SINCE NONE OF TRUMPS ATTEMPTS TO OVERTURN THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULTS EVER CAME CLOSE TO BEING REALIZED IN ANY COURT OF LAW, WITH SITTING JUDGES OFTEN USING SCORN AND DERISION TO DESCRIBE THESE BASELESS LAWSUITS, HOW COULD THIS POSSIBLY REACH THE SUPREME COURT, BYPASSING ALL LOWER COURTS, AND EVEN IF IT DID, WHY WOULD THE HIGHEST COURT IN THE LAND IGNORE ALL PREVIOUS RULINGS, AND UPHOLD A LAWSUIT THAT HAS NO BASIS IN FACT?
