Davids signature is needed to protect Roe v. Wade. JENNIFER WEXTON.

Yesterday, Jennifer told you about a landmark case for LGBTQ equality that was just argued before the Supreme Court.

There's another critical case the Court will hear this term that we need to talk to you about -- and it could be the biggest attack yet on Roe v. Wade in the Trump era.

In 2016, the Court ruled that a Texas law that would have forced most clinics offering abortion care to close was unconstitutional. Now, the Court is considering a similar Louisiana law.

The difference? Anthony Kennedy, the deciding vote in the 2016 case, has been replaced by Trump's anti-choice pick Brett Kavanaugh.

There's a very real chance that Kavanaugh will tip the scales for draconian state laws that impose impossible burdens on health clinics, force them to close, and deny millions of patients access to reproductive healthcare.

So we have to speak out powerfully for the right to choose now. Can you add your name to Jennifer's petition? We need to show the Supreme Court that citizens across the country want Roe v. Wade protected.
Thank you,

Team Wexton

Is your state on our target list. LAURA CARLSON, DGA.

The first elections of the 2020 cycle are already underway – starting TODAY in Louisiana – and Democrats have the historic chance to take back our country.

We have critical elections all over the country in the next two years, and we're fighting to win ALL OF THEM. These elections will decide whether children have access to quality education, whether millions of people have access to health care and whether we'll be able to stand up to Trump's hateful agenda.

But we’ve already seen Republicans doing everything they can to block Democratic victories – which is why it’s more important than ever to fight tooth and nail to win key states. The ONLY way to stop the GOP is to elect Democrats who will fight for our values.
To do that, we need to make sure EVERY Democratic voter turns out on Election Day.
WILL YOU VOTE IN THE NEXT ELECTIONS?

Check out Tom’s highlights from the CNN LGBTQI town hall. TOM STEYER.

DAVID:

Last week, we asked this team how Tom could be an ally to the LGBTQI community. We received so many responses — thoughtful questions about how to make queer kids feel safe, many fearful concerns about violence against the trans community, and stories of frustration about discrimination against LGBTQI people. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts.

Tom participated in a “Power of Our Pride” town hall last night, hosted by CNN and the Human Rights Campaign, to talk about how he would address issues facing the LGBTQI community as president. In case you missed it, here’s a bit of what he said:

Tom remains firm in his belief that everyone, regardless of who they are or who they love, is entitled to be treated equally. To ensure the American promise applies to all of us, Tom knows that we must keep organizing and fighting from the grassroots all the way to Washington.

Thank you..
