BREAKING DOWN THE MUELLER REPORT: A BRIEF TIMEOUT. PART 3. IMPORTANT UPDATE.

FROM NPR NEWS- 6/27/2019.
In a 5-4 decision along traditional conservative-liberal ideological lines, the Supreme Court ruled that partisan redistricting is a political question — not reviewable by federal courts — and that those courts can't judge if extreme gerrymandering violates the Constitution.

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU IGNORE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, AND ALLOW THE OPPOSITION TO CONTROL THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR A NEW SUPREME COURT JUSTICE?

OR

WHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOU DO NOT CHALLENGE BOGUS RETURNS IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, HANDING THE WHITE HOUSE TO A SELF - CENTERED DEMAGOGUE?

ANSWER TO BOTH.

YOU GET DONALD TRUMPS CHOICE FOR THE SUPREME COURT.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

THE FOLLOWING IS TAKEN FROM JUDGE BRETT KAVANAUGHS TESTIMONY BEFORE THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, REGARDING ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST HIM.

"This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit, fueled with apparent pent-up anger about president trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record. Revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups. This is a circus. The consequences will extend long past my nomination. The consequences will be with us for decades."

WHAT AN INTELLECT!! FITS IN WITH TRUMP AND MCCONNELL PERFECTLY.
WHAT ELSE CAN WE TAKE FROM THIS?

#1. Anger-  Does this reference the Unconstitutional denial of President Barack Obamas choice for the Supreme Court, Merrick Garland, a chance to testify before the Senate, to be followed by a public vote?

BUT YOU'RE BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY. REALLY?

#2. President Trump and the 2016 Election- You mean an election with Bogus Returns in at least 6 States that handed Donald Trump the White House, paving the way for him placing 2 Judges on the Supreme Court.

Do you mean "FEAR" of having the future course of Judicial Precedents decided by DONALD TRUMP, whose behavior while in the WHITE HOUSE is often considered to be IRRATIONAL AND VINDICTIVE?

#3. Revenge on behalf of the Clintons- I assume you have the facts to back this up, since this is a direct accusation. Also, Do you mean that the Clintons planned and executed these plans directly, or are unwitting pawns that had no knowledge about the attempt to create this "Circus"?

IS THIS HOW A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SHOULD CONDUCT HIMSELF IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY?

Washington Dc, Boulevard, Avenue, Street

So, What do I mean when I say: TODAYS DONALD TRUMP IS WHAT
HE WAS ALLOWED TO BECOME....

Ask yourself the following question: OF THE THREE BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT;  EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE, AND JUDICIAL, WHAT IS THE HIGHEST OFFICE/MOST POWERFUL POSITION THAT CAN BE OCCUPIED IN EACH BRANCH?

ANSWER.

EXECUTIVE-    PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.

LEGISLATIVE-  U.S. SENATE MAJORITY LEADER.
SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REP.

JUDICIAL-        ONE OF THE NINE MEMBERS OF THE
                       U.S. SUPREME COURT.

Now, in most recent history, what events have most influenced the
current state of each office.

For that, let's go back a few years.

THE SUPREME COURT.

On FEB,13, 2016 SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ANTONIN SCALIA passed away.
THEN PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, following procdedures Set forth in the U.S.
CONSTITUTION, nominated JUDGE MERRICK GARLAND TO FILL THE VACANCY.

The following passage is taken from the U.S. CONSTITUTION.

"...and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for..."

However, for the first time in U.S. HISTORY, THE U.S. SENATE DID NOT MEET TO QUESTION
THE NOMINEE, SO THAT THEY COULD "ADVISE" THE PRESIDENT, AND VOTE TO APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE OF THE JUDGE GARLAND NOMINATION. SENATE MAJORITY LEADER MITCH MCCONNELL DECIDED THAT CONSTITUTIONAL LAW IS NOT A DUTY OR OBLIGATION THAT THE U.S. SENATE HAS, BUT CAN BE FOLLOWED WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT. SO, HE REFUSED TO SEAT THE SENATE TO ACT ON THE NOMINATION.

GIVEN SENATOR MCCONNELLS LEGISLATIVE HISTORY, I DON'T EXPECT MUCH IN THE WAY OF FAIR AND INTELLECTUALLY JUSTIFIABLE REASONS FOR THE POLITICAL AGENDA HE PUSHES. HOWEVER, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTIES REFUSAL TO FILE SUIT, AND BRING THIS MATTER INTO COURT TO FORCE MCCONNELL AND OTHER REPUBLICANS TO OBEY THE OATH THEY TOOK TO "SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION," SHOWED AN INEXPLICABLE LACK OF MORAL AND INTELLECTUAL COURAGE. WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU THINK THIS SENT TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY? TO BAD, IT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

It's National Gun Violence Awareness Month. JENNIFER WEXTON.

David, June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month.

It’s a time to remember those who have been taken from us in acts of senseless gun violence -- and a time to redouble our efforts to reform our laws so we can limit these tragedies.

I am thinking especially of the twelve people who lost their lives three weeks ago in Virginia Beach during a mass shooting. It’s also not the first time our Commonwealth has been painfully impacted by gun violence in recent years.

We owe it to Virginians -- and to all Americans -- to finally act.

The Senate is currently blocking a vote on a sweeping gun safety bill that we’ve passed in the House. Will you join me today and demand a vote that will help save lives?
When I ran for Congress last year, I took on the NRA -- whose headquarters are here in Northern Virginia. I made it clear to Donald Trump and those in his party who had blocked action on gun violence: change is coming.
This year, I was so proud to vote for the first major gun safety bill in decades.

We took the first step to ensure safer communities across the entire country by voting for comprehensive background checks on ALL gun sales.

Passing this in the House was only possible because of the work you did to elect me and other champions for gun safety.

But our work is far from done, and I need you to raise your voices again.

Sign your name to support bold action to stop gun violence. If all of you sign, the strength of our movement will be undeniable.

Thank you,

Jennifer

Add your name: we’re going to cancel ALL student loan debt... BERNIE SANDERS.

David -
Today, an entire generation is burdened with a lifetime of student debt that leaves them less likely to own a home, and with lower wages and more debt than generations before them. We should not be punishing people for getting a college education.
It’s time to hit the reset button.

That is why today I am proud to introduce a plan in Congress with Reps. Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal that will guarantee college as a right for all and that will cancel ALL student debt — $1.6 trillion owed by 45 million Americans, gone within six months.
And Wall Street is going to pay for the whole thing.

Our plan is revolutionary. Here is what we are going to do:
  • College must be a right for everyone, so tuition will be free at all public colleges and universities.
  • We’re going to cancel all $1.6 trillion in existing student loans.
  • Provide additional assistance to students who need it to make college fully debt-free.
  • Cap future student loan rates at 1.88% interest.
Wall Street is going to pay small taxes on their gambling — and those taxes will pay for our entire plan.
Sound good? Add your name if you agree:

We need the best-educated workforce in the world if we're going to compete effectively in the global economy. To do that, we must make certain that every person in this country who has the desire can get all the education they need — regardless of their race, their gender, their ZIP code, or the income of their family.

A full and complete education, from child care through college, must be a human right accessible to anyone who wants it.

It is a tragedy that hundreds of thousands of young people are giving up their dream of going to college because it is too expensive. And it is absurd that we have, at the same time, sentenced an entire generation to a lifetime of debt for doing simply what was expected of them — getting a college education.

That's not what America is supposed to be about. So we’re going to do something about it.
In 2008, Wall Street created a crisis of its own, and in return got a government bailout worth trillions of dollars. It was the biggest taxpayer bailout in history.
Now it’s time for Wall Street to pay it back.

We are going to cancel all student debt. We are going to make public colleges and universities tuition-free and debt-free. We’re going to create an economy that works for all of us, not just the top one percent.
And we’re going to do it together.

Add your name if you agree:
Together we can change our country. Thank you.
In solidarity,
Bernie Sanders

AMERICAN PHILOSOPHICAL ASSOCIATION. Reminder: Small grant and diversity grant proposal deadline is June 30.

Dear DAVID,

There is less than one week left to submit proposals for the APA's small grant fund and diversity and inclusiveness funding programs. All APA members are eligible to apply for funding. Proposals must be submitted by June 30. The APA board of officers will consider applications at its fall meeting in November, and funding will be provided in early 2020.

Small Grant Fund

Each year, the APA's small grant fund, financed by the Eastern Division, awards up to $25,000 in grants for projects that benefit the profession. For this program, proposals for grants of up to $5,000 are welcome.

2019–2020 Diversity and Inclusiveness Funding

In keeping with the APA's mission and goals and the association's longstanding commitment to addressing philosophy's serious lack of demographic diversity, the APA board of officers has committed up to $20,000 in the 2019–2020 academic year to fund initiatives focused on this important issue. The board anticipates awarding either one $20,000 grant or two $10,000 grants through this program.

Please note that a project proposal may only be submitted once for either small grant funding or for diversity and inclusiveness funding.

We look forward to receiving your funding requests.

All the best,

Amy E. Ferrer
