NORTH AMERICAN KANT SOCIETY. VNAKS: Kant, Iberoamerica, and the Mathematical Schematism.

Dear David McDonald,

Two quick things:

1. This week we're emphasizing the *North* American (and not just American) side of NAKS with a presentation by Prof. Efraín Lazos Ochoa of the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas, UNAM, Mexico City.

Prof. Lazos will open by describing the current Kantian scene in Iberoamerica and then go on to present a talk on "Kant and the Mathematical Schematism."

Katherine Dunlop (UT-Austin) will offer comments, and the session will be chaired by Alejandro Naranjo Sandoval (Princeton/UC-Davis) ¡Todos son bienvenidos!

2. In the June issue of our newsletter, we invited you to submit proposals for VNAKS sessions by August 15th.  Here is the application form, which contains detailed instructions. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Note that we are also always happy to receive proposals for NAKS sessions at APA meetings.

best regards,

Andrew Chignell

President, North American Kant Society
