Dear DAVID,   There are only a few hours left in 2020, but you still have time to make a tax-deductible donation to the American Philosophical Association before ringing in the New Year.   If you are in a financial position to do so, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the new APA Meeting Assistance Fund. The fund was established to provide subvention grants to reduce the cost of APA meeting participation for those facing financial hardship, especially graduate students and contingent faculty.   We have reduced the registration rates by approximately 20 percent this year, but those who have lost income due to the coronavirus pandemic may still be unable to attend without additional assistance. By making a donation to the APA Meeting Assistance Fund, you will have a hand in helping a graduate student, contingent faculty member, or other scholar in need take part in an APA meeting in 2021.     Whether or not you are able to make a financial contribution today, please know that all of us at the APA deeply value your support and your contributions to our discipline and our community.
