CANADA TAKES A STAND AGAINST FASCISM: PM Trudeau invokes Emergencies Act in response to ongoing protests.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Monday he is enacting the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history, in response to ongoing protests over COVID-19 restrictions in Ottawa and around Canada. Trudeau says the act will be limited in time, scope and geographical area and it is not being used to call in the military or to override the charter. The act, established in 1988, allows the federal government to override the provinces and authorize special temporary measures to ensure security during national emergencies.

Canadian troops with German prisoners at Juno Beach, June 6, 1944. Casualties in some Canadian units approached 50 percent, but the Canadians broke through nevertheless. This was due in part to the success of the 1st Hussars, an armoured regiment from London, Ontario. While many of the dual-drive (DD) tanks that were intended to land with the first wave ended up foundering in rough seas, the 1st Hussars went ashore with nearly three-fourths of their armoured strength intact. The Hussars' Shermans smashed holes in the German defenses and supported infantry assaults by the Winnipeg Rifles and Regina Rifles. By the evening of June 6, elements of the 1st Hussars had reached Secqueville-en-Bessin, astride the Caen-Bayeux road, thus becoming the only unit in the entire Allied invasion force to achieve its D-Day objective.

CANADIAN TRUCKER CONVOY: "FASCISTS ON THE ROAD AGAIN." PART 3.

With all the publicity focusing on a group of Truckers attempting to Bully and Intimidate the Canadian Government into doing what their paymasters want, (At this point finding out the source of the funding for these actions,WHICH MAY CONSTITUTE AN ACT OF DOMESTIC TERRORISM,* is Paramount), much of the U.S. Media seems to be ignoring a Very Important part of the story: WHAT DOES THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY OF CANADA HAVE TO SAY. Let's find out. (I have highlighted a paragraph in each story, each goes to the heart of the controversy.)

Canadian Trucking Alliance Statement to Those Engaged in Road/Border Protests

The vast majority of the Canadian trucking industry is vaccinated with the overall industry vaccination rate among truck drivers closely mirroring that of the general public. Accordingly, most of our nation’s hard-working truck drivers are continuing to move cross-border and domestic freight to ensure our economy continues to function.

The Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) does not support and strongly disapproves of any protests on public roadways, highways, and bridges. CTA believes such actions – especially those that interfere with public safety – are not how disagreements with government policies should be expressed. Members of the trucking industry who want to publicly express displeasure over government policies can choose to hold an organized, lawful event on Parliament Hill or contact their local MP. What is not acceptable is disrupting the motoring public on highways and commerce at the border.

“The Government of Canada and the United States have now made being vaccinated a requirement to cross the border. This regulation is not changing so, as an industry, we must adapt and comply with this mandate,” said CTA president Stephen Laskowski. “The only way to cross the border, in a commercial truck or any other vehicle, is to get vaccinated.”

Statement by Canadian Trucking Alliance President on Ottawa Protests

Earlier this week the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) issued its position on the convoy protesting the bilateral mandate introduced by the Governments of Canada and the United States that requires all essential workers, including truck drivers, to be vaccinated. The only way to cross the border, in a commercial truck or any other vehicle, is to get vaccinated. As an industry we must adapt and comply with this mandate and the vast majority have.

While a number of Canadians are in Ottawa to voice their displeasure over this mandate, it also appears that a great number of these protestors have no connection to the trucking industry and have a separate agenda beyond a disagreement over cross border vaccine requirements. As these protests unfold over the weekend, we ask the Canadian public to be aware that many of the people you see and hear in media reports do not have a connection to the trucking industry.

To those in the trucking industry that have chosen to participate in this protest regarding cross border mandates, we ask that you engage in a peaceful demonstration today then leave the City of Ottawa to avoid any issues to the welfare and safety of the citizens of Ottawa. Your behaviour today will not only reflect upon you and your family but the 300,000 plus fellow Canadians that, like you, take great pride in our industry. Please remember this important responsibility you bear today in delivering your message responsibly but also the impact your actions will have on the image of the majority of your colleagues from coast-to-coast who do not share your opinion but share your passion for the industry and country.

Over the last 24 months, CTA has and will continue to work with the Government of Canada to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain. This includes several health and safety measures like raising vaccine rates in our sector. CTA will continue this work to benefit our sector and, by extension, the Canadian economy. This work will begin again this Monday when the Government of Canada hosts the National Supply Chain Summit.

THE MUELLER REPORT: LISTEN CAREFULLY, LOGIC HAS NO AGENDA.

With new information coming out about the Mueller Report, and a continuing lack of CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS, coupled with a MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE RULES THAT GOVERN THE DISCIPLINES OF DEDUCTIVE AND INDUCTIVE LOGIC still prevalent, it is time to revisit this Topic.

However, this time we are going to focus on specific TERMINOLOGY, AND CONCENTRATE ON ANY CONCLUSIONS MADE.

In simple terms, A CONCLUSION IS A JUDGEMENT MADE BY AN INDIVIDUAL(S) TO EXPLAIN A SPECIFIC OUTCOME, WHICH IS DONE BY AN ANALYSIS OF A SPECIFIC SET OF FACTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES.

In LOGIC, A CONCLUSION IS JUDGED BY THE VALIDITY OF THE ARGUMENT, (STRUCTURE), AND THE STRENGTH OF THE SUPPORTING PREMISES.

Here is a basic example.

PREMISE- JOHN DOES FINGERPRINTS WERE NOT FOUND ON THE MURDER WEAPON.

PREMISE- THE MURDER WEAPON CAUSED THE FATAL INJURY.

CONCLUSION- JOHN DOE COULD NOT HAVE CAUSED THE FATAL INJURY.

This is an Invalid Argument. (Not Structured correctly.) While the premises might be true, it does not automatically follow that John Doe could not have caused the Fatal Injury. (i.e.Wearing Gloves.)

Now, if I change the CONCLUSION to: THE FINGERPRINT EVIDENCE DOES NOT PROVE THAT JOHN DOE IS INNOCENT OF THE CRIME. I now have a Valid Argument, for if the PREMISES are True, the CONCLUSION DOES FOLLOW and is LOGICALLY COMPATIBLE.

The Point is this- We must be very careful to READ AND UNDERSTAND WHAT IS BEING ASSERTED AS TRUE, BASED UPON THE EVIDENCE BEING PROVIDED. Too many times we find Individuals and Groups carefully selecting specific pieces of evidence, (Creating Premises), that support a specific Conclusion that they proclaim "PROVES THAT THE EVIDENCE VINDICATES US COMPLETELY," when in fact it does not.
