REMEMBERING MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY: IT'S ALL IN THE WORDS.

To remember MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY I decided to reprint the last part of his "I've got a dream Speech," and compare it to a reprint of an answer DONALD TRUMP gave to a question about the upcoming 2020 election.

The following exchange occurred during a White House Press conference on Wednesday, Sept 24, 2020.

“Win, lose, or draw in this election, will you commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the election?” reporter Brian Karem asked Donald Trump...

Trump responded, “Get rid of the ballots and...we’ll have a very peaceful—there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There will be a continuation."

Todays Headline: On Thursday,1/13/2022 the US Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Biden administration cannot move forward with its COVID-19 vaccine-or-test requirement for large workplaces. 

So how did the Majority of  6-3 against President Biden come about? Well, if you have a sitting U.S. Senator in office prior to 2016 a reprint of certain articles should answer that question.

QUIZ TIME! CAN YOU MATCH THE NUMBERS WITH THE OUTCOME?

The Unconstitutional Refusal of a Senate Hearing and Vote for President Obamas nominee for the Supreme Court seeks to establish a Dangerous Precedent,the result of;

- THE SENATE GOP SIMPLY IGNORING CONSTITUTIONAL LAW.

- SENATE DEMOCRATS NOT CARING, AND DOING NOTHING TO STOP IT.

HOWEVER, There is an even more egregious case of Ignoring Factual Information, that continues the path of destruction that could end the CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC THAT FORMS THE STRUCTURE OF THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. 

I am referring to the  2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. 

HOW SO? BECAUSE ACCEPTING THE 2016 ELECTION RESULTS AS TRUE AND VALID INDICATED; 

- THE GOPS DESIRE TO CREATE A FASCIST GOVERNMENT TO RULE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

- THAT DEMOCRATS IN THE U.S. SENATE DO NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL, INCLUDING HANDING THE WHITE HOUSE OVER WITHOUT A FIGHT.

- THAT FEDERAL AND STATE ELECTION OFFICIALS/LAW ENFORCEMENTS WILLINGNESS TO IGNORE OBVIOUS ELECTION IRREGULARITIES.

Why do I say these things? Well apart from 5 years of Research, Posts, and Articles I refer you to the JOHN STUART MILL QUOTE ABOVE.

If there is One Thing we can learn from SENATE REPUBLICANS REFUSING TO HONOR THEIR OATH OF OFFICE, IN HOLDING HEARINGS TO DEBATE PRESIDENT OBAMAS NOMINATION FOR THE U.S. SUPREME COURT, IS THAT THE LACK OF UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE RULES OF LOGIC AND CRITICAL THINKING IS PERVASIVE, EVEN AMONG THIS COUNTRIES LEADERS.

How so?  Read the following STATEMENT VERY CAREFULLY, AND YOU WILL 

SEE THE PROBLEM. (I believe this release by U.S. SENATOR JERRY MORAN, 

SUMS UP THE REPUBLICAN PARTIES STAND ON THIS ISSUE ACCURATELY.)

Kansas Republican Sen. Jerry Morans Statement, given by an aide, on why he changed his mind on holding the Hearings:

(4/1/2016.)

"He has examined Judge Garland's record and didn't need hearings to conclude that the nominee's judicial philosophy, disregard for Second Amendment rights and sympathy for federal government bureaucracy make Garland unacceptable to serve on the Supreme Court ... Senator Moran remains committed to preventing this president from putting another justice on the highest court in the land."

Put aside the Hyperbole that lies within the Statement, and you may notice that the SENATOR IS ACTUALLY TAKING A POSITION ON TWO DIFFERENT, AND SEPARATE ISSUES.

"He has examined Judge Garland's record and didn't need hearings to conclude that the nominee's judicial philosophy..."

This is Clearly a Judgment made by the Senator that any HEARINGS WILL NOT CHANGE HIS POSITION.

FINE, BUT NO ONE IS SAYING THAT THEY COULD, SHOULD, OR WOULD. HIS SUPPORT, OR LACK OF, IS NOT DEPENDENT ON WHAT OCCURS DURING THE HEARINGS. HE IS FREE TO IGNORE, OR DISREGARD ANYTHING SAID, OR TESTIFIED TO, AND MAKE HIS JUDGMENT ON HIS INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF THE CANDIDATE.

THIS GOES FOR ANY EXCUSE BEING USED TO OPPOSE THE HEARINGS.

Such as:

"Most Senate Republicans say a nomination...should be made by the next President."

Very Well. Even though this Opinion is not backed up by any RULING OR PRECEDENT BASED IN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, CURRENTLY IT DOES NOT PRECLUDE ANY SENATOR FROM MAKING A DECISION ON THAT BASIS.

IT COMES DOWN TO THIS:

-  HOLDING THE SENATORIAL HEARINGS REGARDING JUDGE GARLANDS NOMINATION,

AND

-  APPROVING THE NOMINATION, 

ARE TWO DIFFERENT ISSUES, AND TRYING TO PLACE THEM TOGETHER IS A CLEAR EXAMPLE OF DISTORTING THE TRUTH TO HIDE THE REAL REASON FOR THE OPPOSITION TO THE HEARINGS...

WHAT PROGRESSIVES MUST LEARN: TRUMP COULD CARE LESS, BECAUSE NO ONE HOLDS HIM ACCOUNTABLE.

Progressives, no matter where found, must understand, and not forget, that the REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT EXISTS TODAY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PAST. THOSE WHO DEFEND DONALD TRUMP, NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS OR DOES, ARE THE ONES WHO LED THE CHARGE TO NOMINATE HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE,  WITH THE GOAL OF TURNING THE U.S. INTO A COUNTRY OF UNEDUCATED AND ILL-MANNERED BUFFOONS, WITH REALITY TV BEING THE SOURCE OF ALL "KNOWLEDGE."

UNFORTUNATELY, THE LACK OF MORAL AND INTELLECTUAL COURAGE THAT HAS INFECTED THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY THE LAST FEW YEARS HAS TURNED A NATIONAL JOKE INTO A WORLDWIDE TRAGEDY, AND HAS PLAYED RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THOSE WHO THINK AN EDUCATED PUBLIC IS IN DIRECT THREAT TO THE REALM OF KING TRUMP. 

CASE #1-  THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL TREATMENT OF MERRICK GARLAND, PRESIDENT OBAMAS SELECTION FOR THE SUPREME COURT.

CASE #2-  IN 2016 BOGUS ELECTION RETURNS FROM KEY STATES ARE IGNORED,  HANDING AN UNDESERVING DONALD TRUMP THE OVAL OFFICE.

CASE #3- NUMEROUS EXAMPLES OF DONALD TRUMPS CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.
GET RICH SCHEMES, HEALTH INSURANCE, BUSINESS REGULATIONS etc.

CASE #4-  THE ALMOST COMICAL ATTEMPT BY TRUMP AND HIS CRONIES TO ALIENATE EVERY OTHER COUNTRY OR GOVERNMENT ON EARTH. (EXCEPT RUSSIA OF COURSE.)

CASE #5-  THE MUELLER REPORT- WHERE THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS WERE NEVER ANSWERED, THE FAULT OF BOTH PARTIES.

THE SMALL NUMBER OF EXTREMIST FACTIONS WHOSE RISE TO POWER WITHIN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS BEEN DRAMATIC. IT HAS ALSO BEEN THE RESULT OF THE PARTIES INCREASING USE OF INTOLERANT AND HATE FILLED PROPAGANDA TO STIGMATIZE THE OPPOSITION, AND MISLEAD THE PUBLIC. IN ADDITION, A FRAUDULENT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IS OF LITTLE CONCERN, AS LONG AS THE OUTCOME IS IN THEIR FAVOR.

AS YOU READ THE LIST ABOVE, ASK THE FOLLOWING: AT WHAT TIME, SINCE THE ONSET OF HIS CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT, HAS DONALD TRUMP BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE, BY EITHER PARTY, FOR ANYTHING HE HAS DONE OR SAID.
