THE U.S. AS A WHOLE, IS NOT A RACIST COUNTRY, JUST CERTAIN SEGMENTS: RACISM, XENOPHOBIA, HOMOPHOBIA  AND OTHER DOCTRINES OF HATE ARE THE GAMEPLAN OF THE RUSS-PUBLICAN PARTY TO REGAIN AND RETAIN THE MAJORITY SHARE OF POLITICAL POWER IN THE U.S.  SINCE THIS STRATEGY, AND THE ACTIVE SUPPORT OF THE PUTIN GOVERNMENT WORKED IN 2016, (ALONG WITH DEMOCRATIC APATHY), IT IS TIME TO RETURN TO THESE "GLORY DAYS." 

IF THE MINORITY PARTY IN POWER IS WILLING TO GO TO THE LENGTHS THAT THE GOP HAS IN  ACHIEVING ITS GOAL OF TURNING THE U.S. INTO A FASCIST STRONGHOLD, IT POINTS TO A REALITY THAT IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED; THAT SOMETIMES THOSE SCREAMING THE LOUDEST ARE TRYING TO DROWN OUT THE TRUTH.

It is a mistake for Progressives to think that those who make up the Most Conservative Elements of the "NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY" ARE ALL CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH. WHILE THEY MAY VOTE AS A BLOC, THE PRIMARY MOTIVATION DIFFERS FROM GROUP TO GROUP.

While They are usually Packaged Together, ULTRA CONSERVATIVE POLITICIANS HAVE REALIZED THAT FINDING THE ONE KEY ISSUE THAT DRIVES CERTAIN GROUPS OF VOTERS TO THE POLLS, OFTEN WILL TURN THEM INTO LOYAL ALLIES, who will support an agenda full of Issues They may care little about.

It could be GUN CONTROL, SAME- SEX MARRIAGE, GOVERNMENT SPENDING, SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, IMMIGRATION LAWS, REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE etc. THE STRATEGY IS TO PUT FORTH AN UNCOMPROMISING, RIGID, AND VITRIOLIC POINT OF VIEW ON A PARTICULAR ISSUE, APPEALING TO THE BASER ELEMENTS OF HUMAN NATURE.

THE REASON: TO LEARN OF THE ONE ISSUE THAT EACH SECTION OF INDIVIDUAL VOTERS MOST IDENTIFIES WITH, AND MANIPULATE IT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE.

IT'S A TACTIC THAT REQUIRES NO INTELLECTUAL EFFORT ON THE PART OF THE LISTENER. THERE IS NO NEED TO UNDERSTAND, OR EVEN CARE ABOUT THE OPPOSITIONS POINT OF VIEW. IT PLAYS ON RAW EMOTION, WITHOUT THE NEED FOR CONTEMPLATION OR REFLECTION.

THE INDIVIDUAL IS ENCOURAGED NOT TO THINK ABOUT AN INTELLECTUAL JUSTIFICATION FOR THE OPINION THEY ARE SUPPORTING, BUT TO REACT TO THE WORDS OF THE AUTHOR AND\OR SPEAKER, AND ACCEPTING THE MESSAGE AS TRUE, AND WORTHY OF SUPPORT.  THIS, IN TURN, ENCOURAGES AGREEMENT WITH OTHER OPINIONS THAT ARE EXPRESSED

THIS IS HILARIOUS; YOU HAND DONALD TRUMP THE ELECTION, EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE OBVIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE VOTER COUNTS IN CERTAIN KEY STATES, (SEE MY SERIES OF POSTS ON THIS ISSUE), AND YOUR "SHOCKED" BY HIS BEHAVIOR. YOU HAD A CHANCE TO STAND UP, AND DEMAND, AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE NONSENSICAL RETURNS WHICH GAVE HIM THE WHITE HOUSE. AS FAR AS I KNOW, NOT ONE OF YOU DID. YOUR COMPLAINTS MEAN NOTHING TO THOSE WHO WILL SUFFER WHEN THIS DEMAGOGUE TAKES OFFICE.

Trying to understand the Democratic Parties response to the Donald Trump win in the Presidential Election has been difficult.  It is almost surreal, for it is like they have never met THIS REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Think I am being Unfair. Consider This:

You're a Republican, planning future strategy. You have seen your party go through Eight Years

of an Obama Presidency, and no matter how often your Party Thwarted Attempts by the President and other Progressive Democrats to help the American People, your Diatribe, Half-Truths, and Race-Baiting etc., have managed to fool enough of the Electorate so that you lost nothing at the polls.

What is even better, YOU NEVER HAD TO SEEK OUT COMPROMISE. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, ENOUGH PEOPLE TOOK IT AS TRUTH, AND BLAMED MOST OF THE COUNTRIES PROBLEMS ON THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT.

USING RELIGIOUS ZEALOTRY, WHAT YOU COULDN'T BLAME ON THE PRESIDENT, YOU PUT ON THOSE WHO DIDN'T BLINDLY AGREE WITH YOUR BRAND OF CHRISTIANITY, WHICH IS NOT A DOCTRINE OF PEACE, BUT ONE OF HATE AND PREJUDICE.

However, it gets even better. After eight years of Economic and Social Progress, with the country much better off than it was before President Obama took office, you were able to elect an Unscrupulous Demagogue to the highest office in the land. Running on a Platform of almost Pure Hate, appealing to the Basest of Human Emotions, it was a campaign Histories Dictators would be proud of. Yet, even with all this..

...the Democrat Party is accepting the President Elects offer to heal the Division in this Country.

(A Division caused almost exclusively by your parties words and actions).

What does this tell you?

-  THAT NO MATTER HOW REPREHENSIBLE THE REPUBLICAN PARTIES BEHAVIOR IS, IT DOESN'T MATTER.

-  REACH OUT TO ALL THE BIGOTS, RACISTS, HOMOPHOBES, AND OTHER HATERS THAT YOU CAN, IT DOESN'T MATTER.

-  PROMOTE ANGER, VIOLENCE, AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL BEHAVIOR. IT DOESN'T

MATTER.

IN THE END, IT IS THE DEMOCRATS WHO WILL COME CALLING, HOPING, THAT THIS

TIME, YOU WILL BE REASONABLE.

A PROGRESSIVE LEGACY
Over the last Eight Years we have seen Progressive Democrats support
an Economic Policy that included;

-  An increase in the Federal Minimum Wage of 7.25/ hr.
Which was opposed, and killed, by Congressional Republicans.
( However, on the State Level, there are examples of Minimum Wage
Guidelines that the Republican Party couldn't stop).

-  Expanding the Time Period for receiving Unemployment Benefits, to
   Temporarily Relieve Financial Distress associated with Job loss.

-  Financial Relief for crippling costs incurred through Higher Education.

-  Consumer Laws protecting Americans from predatory practices by
    Dishonest Marketers.

    Of course, this list does not include the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT,
    which resulted in Millions of Americans obtaining Medical Care
    Insurance that would not result in Crippling Debt, or a Dramatic
    Decrease in Their Quality of Life.

The Republicans, besides attempting to stop all of the above, stuck with
the old "TRICKLE DOWN THEORY" OF ECONOMICS. Let's see what
that includes:

TAX BREAK INCENTIVES, WHICH ALLOWS THE RICHEST AMERICANS
TO RETAIN MORE OF THEIR WEALTH, WITH THE HOPE THAT THEY WILL
 PUMP THAT MONEY BACK INTO THE ECONOMY.

TO RECEIVE THIS INCENTIVE, ARE THEY
REQUIRED TO:

-  INVEST IN SPECIFIC INDUSTRIES THAT ARE STRUGGLING?- NO.

-  FINANCIALLY SUPPORT CORPORATIONS WHO PROVIDE A LIVING
   WAGE, OR A MEDICAL PLAN FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES?- NO.

-  ONLY SUPPORT AMERICAN BUSINESSES, INSTEAD OF TAKING THE
    FINANCIAL WINDFALL OVERSEAS?-  NO.

THESE TAX BREAKS ARE BASED ON THE "HOPE" THAT THEY WILL BE USED
TO BENEFIT THE COUNTRY AS A WHOLE.

However, don't worry. If these incentives are used unwisely, and the MONEY DISAPPEARS,
ALL IS NOT LOST. CORPORATIONS FORMED ARE PLACED INTO BANKRUPTCY,
MEANING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE FOOTING THE BILL FOR POOR MONEY
MANAGEMENT.  AS FOR THE WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS WHO RECEIVED THE
TAX BREAK BENEFITS, AND LOST THE MONEY? THEY WILL JUST DECLARE THESE
LOSSES ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL TAX RETURNS, AND BASICALLY GET IT ALL BACK.

Do you think THAT ONE OF THE REASONS DONALD TRUMP IS RELUCTANT TO MAKE HIS TAX RETURNS PUBLIC, COULD BE THE RESULT OF THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER FOOTING THE BILL FOR HIS FINANCIAL LOSSES?

Today, the Senate Rules Committee will hold a markup of H.R.1, also known as The For the People Act—an expansive voting and elections bill that would enshrine voting rights for all Americans and expand access to the ballot box in the face of voter suppression from Republicans nationwide.

Here’s what the For the People Act would do:

• End partisan gerrymandering
• Ensure automatic voter registration across the country
• Expand access to mail-in voting options
• Strengthen the Voting Rights Act

Before the Rules Committee meets, will you add your name to our petition to support the For the People Act?

We’ve already seen outrageous election bills aimed at suppressing Democratic turnout in Republican-led states like Florida, Georgia, and Texas. They know that if Democrats continue building power and turning out our voters, we’ll keep winning elections.

Now’s the time to stand up and fight for federal voting rights legislation and protect every American’s right to vote.
