URGENT: House voting TOMORROW on universal background checks.
AN IMPORTANT TOOL TO PREVENT DOMESTIC TERRORISTS, ( LIKE THOSE WHO ATTACKED THE CAPITOL ON JAN, 6, 2021), FROM OBTAINING FIREARMS WITHOUT ANY
REGARD FOR PREVIOUS ACTS OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR.- DAVID.
This is the moment we’ve been working toward for eight years, since our loved ones were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary. That’s why we need to mobilize quickly and have 50,000 people tell members of Congress to vote YES on this lifesaving legislation. Even if you’ve taken action before, it’s crucial that the House hear from you again today to make sure this bill passes.
In the months after the Sandy Hook shooting, we poured our entire hearts into passing background checks legislation, only to watch the Senate vote it down. It crushed us to see that bill fail – and with more children’s lives at risk every day, we cannot afford to fail again.
97% of Americans approve of requiring a background check for all gun sales, and this is the best chance we’ve ever had to finally get this done. Please, there isn’t much time before the vote: Will you sign your name now?
There is no time to waste, so we can’t tell you how much it means to have you by our side at a moment like this. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all you do to help us protect children from gun violence.

TRIBUTE: A Letter from the Innocent.
n December,14,2012 a horrific tragedy occurred in the town of Newtown, Conn.
A lone gunman invaded the Sandy Hook elementary school and killed twenty first grade students. In addition six staff members; The Principal, School Psychologist, Two Teachers and Two Teachers Aides were also killed as they heroically tried to shield and protect the helpless little ones. I humbly offer this tribute, as it first appeared in examiner.com.
A Letter from the Innocent.
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
I am no longer here,
But don't be sad, I remember
Your love for me was clear.
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
A bad-man took me away,
Please don't hurt others
Remember me that way.
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
You protected me at home,
Even though you're not with me,
Teacher is, so I'll never be alone.
Dear Mommy and Daddy,
I love you, but it's pretty here,
and my friends and I get to play,
But it makes me really happy,
Principal says we will be together
again someday.

CONDEMN GREG ABBOTT. BOOT TEXAS REPUBLICANS.
David,
Last week Greg Abbott got himself back in the news again for rolling back 100% of COVID-related precautions and safety measures in Texas.
It’s callous and rash and will cost lives, David. We’re close to rounding a corner on this pandemic, and decisions like this will only set us back.
It’s also clear that Abbott was trying to distract the attention from his failed storm response in February. He failed to effectively mobilize the national guard and the statewide infrastructure was unprepared to handle or respond to a severe winter storm.
Add your name to our petition to condemn Greg Abbott for failing Texans once again.
Abbott’s governorship has been a complete failure and it’s time to hold him accountable by continuing to put national pressure on him.
Thank you for making your voice heard,
Boot Texas Republicans
BLAST FROM THE PAST. July 24, 2019: ESQUIRE MAGAZINE. The Mueller Hearing Just Illustrated the One Reason Trump Wasn't Charged.
THIS WAS THE DEPT. OF JUSTICE UNDER TRUMP: DER FUHRER TRUMP COMMITS A CRIME? A FASCIST GOVERNMENT AGENCY DOES NOT DARE HOLD A DICTATOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. THAT WOULD HAVE MEANT AN EXTENDED STAY IN SIBERIA.
One thing to keep in mind watching former Special Counsel Robert Mueller testify before Congress this fine Wednesday—which primarily consists of him responding, "I would refer you to the report"—is that more than 1,000 former federal prosecutors have signed a letter declaring that, based on the evidence in the Mueller Report, Donald Trump would have been charged with obstruction of justice if he were not the president. The Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel has maintained a position that a sitting president cannot be indicted. As a result, the Report does not make a determination either way on whether Trump obstructed justice, but is explicitly clear that it "does not exonerate" the president.
