HOW LOW CAN WE GO? WITH TRUMP, YOU NEVER KNOW.

 THE FOLLOWING ARE MY DEFINITIONS, BUT I THINK THEY ARE REASONABLY CLOSE TO WHAT WOULD BE FOUND IN BOTH CIVIL OR CRIMINAL LAW.

A PUBLIC SERVANT OR ELECTED OFFICIAL HAS A DUTY TO WORK ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHO ARE AFFECTED BY THE ACTIONS AND DECISIONS THAT ARE PART OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES THAT ARE DEFINED BY THE POSITION OCCUPIED BY THE INDIVIDUAL. 

TO USE SUCH A POSITION TO ENRICH YOURSELF, AND/OR A SELECTED GROUP, BY MAKING DECISIONS THAT WOULD NEGATIVELY AFFECT THOSE WHO ARE PART OF THE POPULATION THAT FALLS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVANT OR ELECTED OFFICIALS DIRECT INFLUENCE, SET BY LAW, IS A CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

SIMPLY PUT: PUTTING SELF-INTEREST ABOVE THE PUBLIC INTEREST.


WITH THAT BEING SAID, HOW IS DONALD TRUMP STILL ALLOWED TO ENDORSE PRIVATE INSURANCE PRODUCTS? EVEN WORSE, HE USES THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT TO DO SO. 

TO HAVE HIM USE HIS OFFICE TO END THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, WHICH BENEFITS MILLIONS OF AMERICANS, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME ENDORSING PRIVATE INSURANCE PRODUCTS, IS AN OBSCENITY.

MY GOD, DOES HE JUST DO WHAT HE WANTS, WITH NO ONE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, WILLING TO STAND UP AND SAY: "NO MORE,YOU CAN'T DO THIS." 

(SORRY, BUT I DO NOT EXPECT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY TO OBJECT TO ANYTHING HE DOES. THAT WOULD TAKE INTEGRITY AND HONOR, TWO TRAITS THEY NO LONGER POSSESS.)

I HAVE NOT TOUCHED ON THE "YOU CAN'T ARREST A SITTING PRESIDENT" CONTROVERSY, BECAUSE I DIDN'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. SINCE, THERE IS NOWHERE IN THE CONSTITUTION, OR JUDICIAL PRECEDENT, THAT GUARANTEES ANY AMERICAN CITIZEN AN ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO BEHAVE AS THEY CHOOSE,WITH NO LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, I DID NOT BELIEVE THERE WAS ANY REASON TO ADDRESS THE SUBJECT. OH WELL, STAY TUNED.

Progressives who continue to think that Donald Trumps Lack of:
-  Maturity.
-  Ability.
-  Integrity.
-  Emotional Stability.
etc...
and Highlighting These Traits to the American Public, are making a Crucial, and possibly Fatal Error, when it comes to preventing any/or all of his Agenda of Hate from becoming part of our legal system. WHY? BECAUSE its misunderstanding the Source of his support, and the extent to which these Individuals and Groups will go to bring about changes in our system of government, with the goal of undermining the very fabric of our Constitutional Republic. To them, ANYTHING THAT ADVANCES THEIR AGENDA IS PERMISSABLE. They may attempt to disguise these tactics by presenting them as "PATRIOTIC," OR "FAITH" BASED NECESSITIES TO "PRESERVE" AND "PROTECT" THE "AMERICAN" WAY OF LIFE, but those terms are just a smokescreen, hiding "THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS" Mentality.

Unfortunately, this appears to be the new "GAME PLAN" OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, IGNORE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW OR CREATE BOGUS ACCUSATIONS, AND COUNT ON THE TIMIDITY OF THE OPPOSITION TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. 

IN THE END, IT IS A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING THAT MAKES THEM SO DANGEROUS.

WHY?

Hard Core Trump Supporters go far beyond the Traditional Elements of the Republican Party Platform. To them, Hate, Prejudice, Xenophobia, Racism, and Religious Zealotry are perfectly valid and justifiable reasons to form Public Policy and Law.

That brings us to Rule #1- What Donald Trump has Done or Said, or will Do or Say, MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AS LONG AS HE TOES THE EXTREMIST LINE.

So what should Progressives, Liberals , and other Groups that believe Government has a Moral Responsibility to Aid those in need, (which doesn't include returning FUNDS LOST THROUGH BAD INVESTMENTS TO THE WEALTHY, WHICH MEANS ALL TAXPAYERS ARE FOOTING THE BILL), to change the minds of those who are buying into the LIES AND FALSEHOODS BEING FED TO THEM BY SELF-CENTERED AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS.

#1-  Acknowledge that the Selfish, Self-Centered, and Dishonest also Vote, so Quit trying to Win over everyone through Fear of Confrontation.

#2-  Stop Allowing Republicans and Ultra Right Wing Candidates to Hijack the Moral High Ground, when its Media Campaign is Transparent, and Easily Refuted.   

#3-  By the Almost Incredible Inability to Stand Up to the Outright Lies and Misrepresentations that
are thrown around come Election Time, regarding Programs that Help the Poor and Disadvantaged.

#4-  When Statistics are Trotted Out about possible Fraudulent Activities in Social Programs, Research and Demand the Sources for such Claims, and Contrast Them with them with  Public Funds Lost Through; 

-  Corporate Bailouts. 

-  Tax Breaks that do not, or are not required

to Benefit the Taxpayer.

-  Funds Acquired Through Government Contracts,

that are Shifted to Foreign Markets with no Positive

Affects on the U.S. Economy.

-  Refusing to Raise Wages to a Minimal Level, which

Encourages Self- Sufficiency, and Decreases the 

Need for Government Aid.

... Other Policies that Push an Agenda that

Benefits a Narrow Set of American Citizens.  

#5-  Point Out to Voters, who have Benefited from 

Programs Instituted by the Progressive Agenda, that

what has been Won by Voting, can be Lost or Unfunded

by Not Voting.

MOST IMPORTANT:

MAKE SURE THAT ELECTIONS, AT ANY LEVEL, ARE SCRUTINIZED CAREFULLY FOR FRAUD. DO NOT TAKE THE RESULTS AT FACE VALUE, BECAUSE EVEN THE LOSERS AT THE POLLS MAY NOT HAVE THE FORTITUDE OR INCLINATION TO CHALLENGE  OUTCOMES THAT ARE FIXED. THAT IS WHAT THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION HAS TAUGHT US.

- THE REPUBLICANS TOOK CONTROL OF THE SUPREME COURT WITHOUT A FIGHT,

BECAUSE THE MORAL AND INTELLECTUAL COWARDICE OF SENATE DEMOCRATS ALLOWED MAJORITY LEADER MCCONNELL TO EFFECTIVELY ELIMINATE THE ROLE OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IN FILLING A VACANCY ON THE U.S. SUPREME COURT.

STRIKE 2.

- DONALD TRUMP WAS HANDED THE WHITE HOUSE AFTER A FRAUDULENT ELECTION, WHICH WAS NOT CONTESTED BY ANY MEMBER OF THE U.S. SENATE, OR THE U.S. HOUSE OF REP.

WHAT IS STRIKE 3 GOING TO BE?
