One year since a horrific act of terror. U.S. REP. JENNIFER WEXTON.

David, today marks one year since the horrific shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. This antisemitic act of terror left 11 dead and shook our country to its core.

It was an act that manifested from conspiracy theories and xenophobia. It was the product of a moment in our country when hate has been exacerbated by the words of some of our leaders. And it was made possible because the shooter had access to a semi-automatic weapon.

So as we reflect and try to heal one year later, we need to have hard conversations on ways to end gun violence, and how violent hate can take hold in individuals.

Today, I stand in solidarity with the people of Pittsburgh and Jewish communities around the world. I remain vigilant against antisemitism, and will call out hate in all its forms.

An historic record low of veterans are serving in Congress today.

Military veterans bring a unique skill set when it comes to our Democracy. Veterans understand the need to work together; veterans make tough decisions; veterans believe that leaving people behind -- whether on the battlefield or in our society -- is un-American.

We have a President who does not fully understand the consequences of his actions when it comes to foreign policy or simply, he could care less. Now, more than ever, we need more veterans in Congress who understand how we maintain America’s strength on the world stage.

There are people who know how to make money very easily, and they've rigged the system for themselves without sharing their secrets with people who really need it."

"I'm going to change all that" Mr. Trump added.

The secret, he says, is in taking advantage of the leverage available on the internet.
