David, Today, we’re excited to share that Beto will join a CNN-televised town hall on Tuesday, May 21 at 10 pm Eastern, 9 pm Central. This is Beto’s first nationally-televised town hall since he announced running for president. It’s a huge moment for our campaign, and an opportunity for more people to connect with Beto’s message. We’ll prepare you with everything you need to host a great watch party -- a toolkit, personal support from an organizer, and we’ll invite other supporters in your area so they can meet and join you, too. BLAST FROM THE PAST. WHAT PROGRESSIVES MUST LEARN. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF HATE: THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY. PT 1.

Progressives, no matter where found, must understand, and not forget, that the REPUBLICAN PARTY THAT EXISTS TODAY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PAST. THOSE WHO HAVE LED THE CHARGE TO NOMINATE DONALD TRUMP, ARE FROM A SMALL NUMBER OF EXTREMIST FACTIONS WHOSE RISE TO POWER WITHIN THE PARTY HAS BEEN DRAMATIC. IT HAS ALSO BEEN THE RESULT OF THE PARTIES INCREASING USE OF INTOLERANT AND HATE FILLED PROPAGANDA TO STIGMATIZE THE OPPOSITION, AND MISLEAD THE PUBLIC.

The Problem for the REPUBLICANS, was the Idea that these FACTIONS could be Utilized for the benefit of the Party as a whole, but controlled and prevented from attaining to much power and influence within the Parties Hierarchy. When needed they could be Mobilized for Money, Votes, Voices on Radio, Demonstrations, or any Party need that could not be satisfied Through Normal, Traditional, Intellectually Honest or Morally Commendable Channels.

These Factions Include Individuals who could be Described in the following ways:

-   RELIGIOUS ZEALOT.

-   RADICAL ISOLATIONIST.

-   ECONOMIC BIGOT.

-   ANTI- INTELLECTUALIST.

Now, they're Racists, Bigots, Homophobes, Xenophobes etc., , to be found in every walk off life. However, in the Republican Parties case, They now call the shots by setting Policy, and promoting certain Individuals as Candidates to Nominate for the Upcoming Election.

David, With President Trump and many Republicans edging us closer to conflict with Iran, Seth has been relentlessly working to restore sanity to American foreign policy and remind voters it’s times like these when we most need national security to be part of our national debate. Here’s what he’s been up to: 1) Seth spoke with MSNBC about escalating tensions with Iran. “I fought Iranians in Najaf. We won. I’d fight them again if necessary. But this is not necessary. This is chicken hawks trying to drag us into a war with Iran just like they did 15 years ago in Iraq. This is why we need to make national security front and center at the Democratic debates.” 2) Seth was on Fox News again to talk about the need for a commander in chief with an actual military strategy--not one who threatens to send troops to Iran, and not one who is best friends with North Korea’s despotic leader. 3) Seth was back on MSNBC to talk generational change: “It’s time for the generation that fought in Iraq and Afghanistan to step in for the generation that sent us there--because we have a totally new generation of problems.” Thank you, Team Moulton DONATE
