The Gang That Couldn't Collude Straight, Manafort Tries To Double Cross Mueller. THE PEN.
Dear David,
The instant Paul Manafort pled guilty and entered into a plea
agreement he started to collude behind Mueller's back with the Trump
gang, feeding them information about Mueller's lines of
investigation. Trump's own legal PR mouth piece (not a real
attorney), Rudy Guiliani, just confessed this in public.
This is the same Paul Manafort who thought he could get away with
witness tampering, using encrypted messaging applications, thinking
he was so clever, before his first trial. That's why he was
incarcerated as fast as he was.
Well, check this out. The communications between Manafort's and
Trump's attorneys may be discoverable in a criminal investigation,
and not protected because it may represent a conspiracy to obstruct
justice. Might be time to fit Rudy himself for a striped suit. Yeah,
lock him up too.
Indeed, there is a long list on deck of Trump colluders who appear to
be making a bee line for prison. Do not pass Go, do not collect two
hundred dollars.
Another joker who thinks he can play games with Robert Mueller is
Jerome Corsi, who backed out of a plea deal that offered him zero
jail time, and immediately went on TV, telling more incredible lies,
and leaking the documents that prove it. He now gets to sit at the
same defendants' table with Roger Stone.
It seems that BOTH Manafort and Corsi participated in discussions for
and/or entered into plea agreements for the SOLE purpose of playing
mole to feed information back to Trump so they could all get their
stories straight. And if Mueller was not angry before, you'd better
believe he's hopping mad now, indicting chief executive while in
office mad.
Perhaps the only thing worse than a so-called angry Democrat is an
angry purple heart veteran, Duddley Do Right, boy scout Republican.
Oh yes, and then there is Trump's retweet today of a picture of
Mueller himself behind bars demanding to know when the treason
prosecutions will begin. That will go over well in the Special
Prosecutor's office.
The people around Trump are the worst of the worst, the biggest
liars, the most corrupt sleazebags, the most arrogant whack-a-doodles
to be found anywhere in America. And they are all headed to jail, all
of them. Most of them couldn't even skate if Trump started handing
out pardons wholesale like candy (itself obstruction of justice)
because state attorneys general are standing by to prosecute on
parallel state crimes.
This is truly the gang that couldn't collude straight. And in case
you want to know they've proven abysmally incompetent at governing
too, all to our national detriment.

SERVING YOU | MEDIA CENTER | LEGISLATIVE WORK | OUR DISTRICT | |||||||||||||||

Dear David, This week, our country bid farewell to a great American. President George H. W. Bush embodied our country’s highest ideals of service and devotion to a cause greater than yourself. As a young man, who was born into privilege and who came of age during World War II, George Bush was told over and over again to stay in school and let others fight the war for him. Instead, he answered the call to serve. As the youngest pilot in the Navy, he commanded the largest bomber plane in the Pacific fleet. He survived after being shot down and later earned the Air Medal, two Gold Stars, and the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service. At the end of the war, George Bush left his native New England for Texas where he would start a family with his beloved wife, Barbara. After nearly two decades of success in business, he once again felt called to service. Whether a diplomat, Congressman, CIA Director, Vice President, or President, George H. W. Bush always served the country he loved with honor, dignity, and grace. Few Americans will ever know the joys of public service as well as President Bush did. My thoughts are with his entire family. $20 Million for Pell Bridge The Claiborne Pell Bridge is an iconic example of Rhode Island’s unparalleled architecture. The longest suspension bridge in all of New England, it first opened to traffic between Newport and Jamestown nearly 50 years ago. Nearly 27,000 vehicles cross the Pell Bridge each day, making it a critical piece of our state’s infrastructure. Like other bridges and roads, however, the Pell Bridge has been in need of improvements for some time now. That’s why I’m pleased that I worked with my colleagues in the Congressional Delegation to deliver $20 million in new federal funding this week for improvements on the ramps and roadways that service the Pell Bridge. This critical funding will meet one of Rhode Island’s most pressing infrastructure needs. It will strengthen our economy, make it easier to move goods and services, and enhance the quality of life in our state. I’m looking forward to seeing this money get put to work. Not only will this project rebuild and improve the layout of the ramps and roadways leading from Aquidneck Island to the Pell Bridge, but it will also open 30 acres of land for redevelopment in the City of Newport. That’s real progress for our state, and I’m going to continue fighting in the weeks and months ahead to ensure we bring back even more federal resources for Rhode Island. Bump Stocks Last week, we learned that the U.S. Department of Justice is preparing to announce new regulations banning the sale of bump stocks that can turn semi-automatic rifles into the functional equivalent of machine guns. These devices were used in the October 2017 mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas. They have no legitimate purpose. It should not have taken the Department of Justice more than a year to act, but this appears to be a step in the right direction. In order to permanently end the threat that bump stocks pose to public safety, however, Congress must take action. The Automatic Gunfire Prevention Act, which I’ve introduced in the U.S. House, will stop, once and for all, the sale of bump stocks. My bill has 175 co-sponsors in the House and 41 in the U.S. Senate, where Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is leading the fight to pass this bill. Both chambers of Congress should take up this legislation and pass it as soon as possible. New Office This week, my Capitol Hill office moved locations. We are now located in Office #2233 in the Rayburn House Office Building. I hope you will drop by when you are visiting our nation’s capital. If there is anything that my staff or I can do to serve you, please do not hesitate to let me know. You can reach me via email at David.Cicilline@mail.house.gov or call my office at 729-5600. Warm Regards, David N. Cicilline Member of Congress |
