Voice your opinion: Trump's Supreme Court nominee. Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring.

David,

The Senate could vote in the next few days on Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. In the last week, we've seen some of the worst of American politics on display, both during his confirmation hearing and even from President Trump – heartless rhetoric, elitism, sexism and blind partisanship. But we've also been inspired by the brave people standing up, even when so many stood against them.

With critical issues potentially coming before the Supreme Court – from a women's right to choose and protections for those with pre-existing conditions, to voting rights and Citizens United – this could be the most consequential confirmation of our lifetime.

So as we approach this critical vote, Mark and our team want to hear from you:
Should the Senate confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court?
YES

NO
Thank you,

Team Herring

JUDGE KAVANAUGH- LISTEN TO THE RESPONSE. UPDATE: A TRUMP MINION DEFENDS..

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins said the following, to explain her "REASONING" IN SUPPORTING JUDGE KAVANAUGH FOR THE SUPREME COURT:

"In evaluating any given claim of misconduct, we will be ill served in the long run if we abandon the presumption of innocence and fairness, tempting though it may be," she said. "We must always remember that it is when passions are most inflamed that fairness is most in jeopardy."

HOWEVER, JUDGE KAVANAUGH GETS A FREE PASS FROM THIS:

" Revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups. This is a circus. The consequences will extend long past my nomination. The consequences will be with us for decades."

I GUESS HIS ACCUSERS ARE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD THAN HE IS.

THAT IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF REPUBLICAN HATE SPEECH BEING PROTECTED BY ONE OF DONALD TRUMPS MINIONS.

*********************************************************************************

THE FOLLOWING IS TAKEN FROM JUDGE KAVANAUGHS TESTIMONY BEFORE THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, REGARDING ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST HIM.

"This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit, fueled with apparent pent-up anger about president trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record. Revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups. This is a circus. The consequences will extend long past my nomination. The consequences will be with us for decades."

WHAT CAN WE TAKE FROM THIS?

#1. Anger-  Does this reference the Unconstitutional denial of President Barack Obamas choice for the Supreme Court, Merrick Garland, a chance to testify before the Senate, to be followed by a public vote?

BUT YOU'RE BEING TREATED UNFAIRLY. REALLY?

#2. President Trump and the 2016 Election- You mean an election with Bogus Returns in at least 6 States that handed Donald Trump the White House, paving the way for him placing 2 Judges on the Supreme Court.

Do you mean "FEAR" of having the future course of Judicial Precedents decided by DONALD TRUMP, whose behavior while in the WHITE HOUSE is often considered to be IRRATIONAL AND VINDICTIVE?

#3. Revenge on behalf of the Clintons- I assume you have the facts to back this up, since this is a direct accusation. Also, Do you mean that the Clintons planned and executed these plans directly, or are unwitting pawns that had no knowledge about the attempt to create this "Circus"?

IS THIS HOW A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SHOULD CONDUCT HIMSELF IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY?

TO BE CONTINUED...?

Tomorrow in Boston: Tell Senator Flake to reject Kavanaugh. Jennifer Childs-Roshak, MD, MBA President Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts @DrJenCR

Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts

Dear Searchingforreason.N,
On Friday, Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona voted to advance Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination out of committee to the Senate floor for a vote. As the key swing vote on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Flake held the power to put an end to this disgraceful nomination – and he chose not to. With a single vote, Senator Flake told the world that he doesn’t care about survivors of sexual assault and that the painful experiences of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Deborah Ramirez, and Julie Swetnick don’t matter.
Tomorrow, Senator Flake comes to Boston to speak on a panel on the future of his party. And tomorrow, we honor the strength of Dr. Ford and all survivors when we gather outside the Senator’s event and make this demand: reject Kavanaugh.
Speakers will include Mayor Marty Walsh, Councilor Ayanna Pressley, and other leaders, survivors, and storytellers.
Tomorrow, Monday, October 1
10 AM to 11 AM
City Hall Plaza, Boston
Please no large bags or signs on sticks.
Survivors, women, and people around the country have been pleading with senators to stop Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination. The evidence makes clear that if senators and the White House continue to push his nomination forward, they will, undoubtedly, compromise the integrity of our nation’s highest court.
As I watched Dr. Ford hold back tears as she recounted what happened to her at that party in 1982, I was reminded of how critical it is that our Supreme Court works for everyone. That’s why tomorrow, I am fighting back. Senator Flake, you may have ignored Dr. Ford, but her story and the stories of millions will not go away.
See you tomorrow,
