Protect our Elections. CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE MAURA SULLIVAN.

This is an alarming moment for our country and our democracy. The intelligence community agrees: Russia is interfering in our elections. But Donald Trump and the GOP refuse to take the necessary steps to protect our democracy from foreign interference. Instead they delay on votes, remove sanctions, and pretend there isn’t a problem. This is a fundamental threat to our democracy.

Congress needs to put aside partisan politics and protect America from foreign interference in our elections.

We Have Momentum, But It Can't Stop Now. CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE STEVE SEVIGNY, MD.

Dear David,

Since last week’s candidate debate, our campaign has been soaring. The debate made the question in this election perfectly clear: who has a better chance of turning this district blue? A Washington careerist from outside the district, or someone with clear values who’s lived here for decades, raised a family and helped thousands of residents?

I've said from the beginning that for us to win in November, we need new ideas and new leaders, not the same old thing.

One of the candidates in our primary has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars from lobbyists and bankers in DC, New York and California, but only 5% of her donations are from here in our district. That’s the same old way of politics that can’t win this year.

Too much is at stake to gamble on more of the same...

Maura is proud of her time serving President Obama, from knocking doors for him in New Hampshire in 2008, to serving as an Assistant Secretary at the VA and a senior advisor at the Pentagon. President Obama’s leadership, commitment to public service and integrity has always inspired Maura.

In honor of President Obama’s 57th birthday today...help Maura continue and protect President Obama’s legacy...

 

During her time in the Obama Administration, Maura worked on expanding health care for military families and providing care for Veterans - work that is in danger of being undone by the current administration.
