David -- Couldn’t be prouder to announce that my friend and mentor, Congressman Seth Moulton, will be leading a rally with our supporters here in Kingston on Monday, June 25th, the day before Election Day.

 

For those of you who don’t know Seth, he’s exactly the type of servant-leader we need more of in Washington - the type of leader that I will be for our district. Seth represents Massachusetts' 6th District, and served in the Marines before being elected to Congress. He's also a rising star in the Democratic Party (you can read some more about him in the NYTimes and Politico) and I think he has a tremendous future as a next-generation leader who can present an alternative policy vision to the Trump agenda.

 

Seth knows what it takes to break through partisan gridlock and actually get things done in Washington, and has been a leader in standing up to President Trump’s dangerous policies. I’m truly honored to have his support in this fight, and to be the only candidate in this primary field with the endorsement of a sitting Member of Congress.

 

On Monday, we’ll be rallying with our top supporters at our Campaign HQ to get fired up and kick off our final day of GOTV. Come hear Rep. Moulton speak and then pick up a packet and head out to knock doors or make calls at HQ. I hope that you’ll join us.

Half-measures and political posturing are unacceptable. Children are being thrown in cages. Taken from their parents. Having their shoelaces and toys taken from them. Tossed in cages. Having their diapers changed by other children.

Email your Senators right now and demand legislative action to reunite these children with their parents and to NEVER throw another child in a cage.

Mothers and fathers packed up their children along with what little they have and embarked on a perilous journey in search of a better life. This is the story that began what we know today as America. And it is the same story that is being turned into a dystopian nightmare on our southern border. Our immigration system is broken, we've known that for quite some time. The can has been kicked down the road while Republicans have sown fear and hatred to win elections. 

It's time to end that. It's time to decide what our values are, who we want to be as people and as a nation. 

While it may take more than a few days to enact meaningful change, we can no longer afford to wait for the Washington establishment to act on an issue they have ignored for far too long.
