FACING THE TRUTH: THE COST OF HATE. PART 1.

It is time to pull away the Blinders and see the REPUBLICAN TAX PLAN FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS- A CHANCE TO BRING TOGETHER TWO SEPARATE IDEOLOGIES THAT ARE AFTER THE SAME THING: TO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OVER THE LIVES OF ALL AMERICANS, FINANCIALLY, ETHICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY.  IT IS THE TOTALITARIAN DREAM THAT FAVORS THE FEW, AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MANY.

Consider the following; What do we know about DONALD TRUMP THE POLITICIAN, IN TERMS OF WHERE HIS SUPPORT LIES;

1.  Those who favor BIG TAX BENEFITS FOR CORPORATE AMERICA, AND KEEPING THE COUNTRIES WEALTH IN THE HANDS OF THE FEW. NO UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, AND FEW REGULATIONS THAT PROTECT THE CONSUMER.

2. Those who believe in the SOCIAL HIERARCHY THAT FAVORS SPECIFIC GROUPS, AND PERSECUTES OTHERS. FREEDOM OF RELIGION, SPEECH, OR ASSEMBLY etc., ARE NO LONGER RIGHTS UNIVERSALLY APPLIED TO ALL, BUT ARE GIVEN HANDED OUT AS PRIVILEGES BY THOSE WHO CARE LITTLE FOR CONSTITUTIONAL GUARANTEES.

Before you answer, think about it, carefully. When you look at those Politicians who favor TRUMPS
ECONOMIC POLICIES THE MOST, WHAT IS THE GENERAL MAKE UP OF THE 
CONSTITUENCIES THEY REPRESENT. Do they have ...

-...a Higher Standard of Living, when compared
to the rest of the Nation?

-...a Population with a High Percentage having
Medical Coverage, when compared to other States?

-...Wage Standards above the Minimum required by 
Federal Law, that are Adjusted for Inflation or
Economic Necessity?

-...a Public School System that emphasizes the disciplines of Science 
and Logic, whether or not they disagree with Religious Faith?

If we find that some States are consistently located at the lower end 
of the Spectrum, and are represented by Politicians who support
Economic Policies that do not address these problems, we must ask
the question: WHY ARE THEY ELECTED, AND REELECTED,
TIME AFTER TIME?

It is a mistake for Progressives to think that those who make up the Most Conservative Elements of the "NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY" ARE ALL CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH. WHILE THEY MAY VOTE AS A BLOC, THE PRIMARY MOTIVATION DIFFERS FROM GROUP TO GROUP.

While They are usually Packaged Together, ULTRA CONSERVATIVE POLITICIANS HAVE REALIZED THAT FINDING THE ONE KEY ISSUE THAT DRIVES CERTAIN GROUPS OF VOTERS TO THE POLLS, OFTEN WILL TURN THEM INTO LOYAL ALLIES, who will support an agenda full of Issues They may care little about.

It could be GUN CONTROL, SAME- SEX MARRIAGE, GOVERNMENT SPENDING, SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, IMMIGRATION LAWS, REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE etc. THE STRATEGY IS TO PUT FORTH AN UNCOMPROMISING, RIGID, AND VITRIOLIC POINT OF VIEW ON A PARTICULAR ISSUE, APPEALING TO THE BASER ELEMENTS OF HUMAN NATURE.

THE REASON: TO LEARN OF THE ONE ISSUE THAT EACH SECTION OF INDIVIDUAL VOTERS MOST IDENTIFIES WITH, AND MANIPULATE IT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE.

IT'S A TACTIC THAT REQUIRES NO INTELLECTUAL EFFORT ON THE PART OF THE LISTENER. THERE IS NO NEED TO UNDERSTAND, OR EVEN CARE ABOUT THE OPPOSITIONS POINT OF VIEW. IT PLAYS ON RAW EMOTION, WITHOUT THE NEED FOR CONTEMPLATION OR REFLECTION.

THE INDIVIDUAL IS ENCOURAGED NOT TO THINK ABOUT AN INTELLECTUAL JUSTIFICATION FOR THE OPINION THEY ARE SUPPORTING, BUT TO REACT TO THE WORDS OF THE AUTHOR AND\OR SPEAKER, AND ACCEPTING THE MESSAGE AS TRUE, AND WORTHY OF SUPPORT.  THIS, IN TURN, ENCOURAGES AGREEMENT WITH OTHER OPINIONS THAT ARE EXPRESSED THE SAME WAY.

Wanted to share a quick update from the last week on the campaign trail--

 

We launched our first TV ad -- I'm incredibly proud of it. The response we’re getting from voters in NY-19 and supporters all across the country is incredible. People are demanding a country where our leaders put kids first -- not gun manufacturers. We deserve leaders who will show the courage to stand up, speak out, and act.

 

With our June primary so close, I’m spending as much time as possible meeting with voters face-to-face. Brooke Selby and WNYT NewsChannel 13 even joined me this weekend in Athens to knock on doors. Other highlights: This American Life caught up with our team as we knocked on doors in New Paltz and stopped by a meet and greet hosted by New Paltz Supervisor Neil Bettez.

You may remember the story about my friend Ali, who was my interpreter in Iraq. He fought to protect Americans, and I had to fight for years to get visas for him and his wife. Ali's story resonated with a lot of our supporters, so we chose to feature it on one of our mailers to share it with our entire district.

 

With just [D-33] to go until our primary, we can't slow down now. Every phone call, door knock, and chance to connect with voters is make or break for our race to flip NY-19 and unseat Faso. Can't thank you enough for having my back in this race.

IT IS UNFORTUNATE, BUT THE REAL REASON THAT THESE TOPICS CAUSE SO MUCH CONTROVERSY IS TWO-FOLD:

 -  MANY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD,

THIS INCLUDES BOTH POLITICIANS AND VOTERS.

The Scientific Method, and what makes it a Valuable Tool, is sometimes not presented in a way that sets it apart from those Opinions that are Derived from MINDSETS That Are Essentially Useless, when discussing Phenomena that Occurs in Nature.

SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO USE THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD?

First and Foremost, THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD IS NOT A SET OF BELIEFS, WITH A DOCTRINE THAT PASSES JUDGMENT ON A CATEGORY OR SUBJECT, LABELING THEM AS EITHER SCIENTIFIC OR UNSCIENTIFIC.

Like the RULES OF LOGIC AND MATHEMATICS, THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD IS A PROCESS, THAT LEADS TO ANSWERS AND CONCLUSIONS THAT EITHER DEFINITIVELY EXPLAIN THE EVIDENCE, DATA AND INFORMATION PROVIDED, OR OFFERS HYPOTHESES THAT POINT OR DIRECT US TO THE MOST PROBABLE SOLUTIONS.

We do not use the Scientific Method to Evaluate Subjects, that by Definition, do not rely on LOGIC OR EVIDENCE-BASED MATERIAL TO BE ACCEPTED AS TRUTHFUL, SUCH AS RELIGIOUS FAITH OR OTHER SUPERNATURAL  SYSTEMS OF BELIEF.

-  DISCUSSING OR DEBATING THE PROBLEM OFTEN MISSES THE POINT.

When you DISCUSS OR DEBATE ANY SUBJECT, THERE ARE CERTAIN CRITERIA THAT MUST BE MET, OR THE RESULT WILL BE ESSENTIALLY USELESS.
