What we did on Monday. HILLARY CLINTON.

David --
Onward Together
On Monday, leaders from every group that Onward Together partners with met for our first-ever Onward Together convening. I was thrilled to bring them together with some of my dearest friends and most trusted advisors to share and learn from each other, and to announce the newest round of grants funded by this team. You made that possible -- thank you.

I’ve always been proud to work with these groups, but I was moved to see what they accomplished together -- in thoughtful conversations about the obstacles they’re facing and in the plans they made to take on the next few months. The Alliance for Youth Action, the Arena, the Collective PAC, Color of Change, Emerge America, Indivisible, iVote, Latino Victory, Run for Something, Swing Left, and Voto Latino all have amazing plans for 2018. They’re taking on everything from the midterm elections to restrictive voting laws to the lack of diversity in our elected officials, and they’re doing so in smart, inventive ways. I’m so excited to be a part of their work.

I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have you with me, fighting for the values we share.
Thank you, and onward!

Hillary

APA- Comment or chair at the 2019 Eastern Division meeting.

American Philosophical Association
Dear DAVID,
The program committee for the 2019 APA Eastern Division meeting would like to invite volunteers to serve as session chairs or commentators for submitted papers at the upcoming meeting in New York, NY, January 7–10, 2019. Please note that the meeting is now held in January, not in December. You may volunteer by using this online form.
Eastern meeting participantsYour information will be given to the program committee so that you may be considered as a chair or commentator for a submitted paper. The committee has sent out acceptance notifications for submitted papers; invitations to chairs and commentators are expected to go out this month.
Volunteering does not guarantee that you will be asked to comment or chair. The program committee also makes use of other sources for possible commentators and chairs, including the authors of submitted papers that were not accepted. The number of volunteers usually far exceeds the number of positions that need to be filled. The committee does not notify those volunteers who have not been selected.
Please note that all program participants, including presenters, chairs, and commentators, must register for the meeting.
If you have questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Dunn
