DEMOCRATS IN PENNSYLVANIA: DON'T BE SCAMMED AGAIN!!! DEMOCRATS CONFIDENT IN PENNSYLVANIA? REMEMBER 2016...

American Flag, Usa Flag, Textured, Rough, Harsh, Coarse

THE SPECIAL ELECTION ON MARCH,13,2018 IN PENNSYLVANIA HAS DEMOCRATS FEELING CONFIDENT...

REALLY? HOW ABOUT THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
IS THE STATE PARTY LEADERSHIP ACTUALLY
GOING TO PAY ATTENTION: THIS TIME!!!!

HERE ARE THE RESULTS FROM 2012 AND 2016
ELECTION RESULTS FOR PRESIDENT.

PENNSYLVANIA- 2012 ELECTION. TOTAL # OF DEMOCRAT\REPUBLICAN VOTES: 5,670,708.

TOTAL DEMOCRATIC VOTES- 2,990,274.

TOTAL REPUBLICAN VOTES- 2,680,434.

MARGIN OF DEMOCRATIC VICTORY- 309,840 VOTES.

PENNSYLVANIA- 2016 ELECTION.  TOTAL # OF DEMOCRATIC/REPUBLICAN VOTES: 5,897,174.  UP +226,466 VOTES FROM 2012 ELECTION.

TOTAL DEMOCRATIC VOTES- 2,926,441 VOTES, LOSS OF 63,833 VOTES FROM 2012 ELECTION.

TOTAL REPUBLICAN VOTES-  2,970,733 VOTES, GAIN OF +290,299 VOTES.

HERE IS A BREAKDOWN:

The TOTAL # OF  DEMOCRAT/REPUBLICAN VOTES INCREASED +226,466 votes from
2012-2016.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY LOST 63,833 VOTES BETWEEN 2012 AND 2016, OR ABOUT -2.1%. In itself, that's
not a drastic decline. It would be considered a result that is well within normal expectations.

HOWEVER, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY NUMBERS ARE ANOTHER MATTER. AN INCREASE OF +290,299 VOTES REPRESENTS ABOUT AN + 10.8% INCREASE.

This number, (+290,299), is more than 4 times the number
of votes that the Democrats lost.

TO ACHIEVE THE TOTAL OF 2,970,733 VOTES IN 2016, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY NEEDED A SCENARIO LIKE THE FOLLOWING TO HAPPEN:

EVERY SINGLE VOTER WHO CAST A BALLOT FOR THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE IN 2012, HAD TO DO SO AGAIN IN 2016: 2,680,434 VOTES.

EVERY NEW VOTER WHO CAST A BALLOT FOR EITHER THE DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, HAD TO CHOOSE REPUBLICAN: +226,466 VOTES.

THAT TOTAL= 2,906,900 IS STILL SHORT OF THE "OFFICIAL" TOTAL OF 2,970,733 VOTES.

HOW COULD THIS BE? THE REPUBLICANS WERE STILL 63,833 VOTES SHORT OF THE FINAL NUMBER. WELL, GO BACK A FEW PARAGRAPHS AND CHECK OUT THE NUMBER OF VOTES THE DEMOCRATS LOST FROM 2012-2016= -63,833.

TO ACHIEVE A TOTAL OF 2,970,733 VOTES IN 2016, HERE IS RUNDOWN OF WHAT
THE REPUBLICANS NEEDED TO HAPPEN:

EVERY REPUBLICAN VOTER FROM 2012, RETURNS AND VOTES REPUBLICAN AGAIN IN 2016: 2,680,434.

EVERY NEW VOTER WHO SELECTS EITHER DEM.\REP. IN 2016, CHOOSES REP.: 226,466.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE 63,833 VOTERS THE DEM. PARTY LOST BETWEEN 2012- 2016, RETURNS TO THE POLLS AND VOTES REPUBLICAN.

2,680,434 + 226,466 + 63,833 = 2,970,733.

THIS IS LUDICROUS. NO REASONABLE INDIVIDUAL WHO LOOKS AT THESE NUMBERS COULD TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY.

THIS ELECTION WAS A SHAM.

DON'T TAKE MY WORD, GO OVER THE RESULTS
CAREFULLY.

MY REMARKS- TAX CUTS FOR MILLIONAIRES. CONGRESSMAN DAVID CICILLINE.

Dear David,

Earlier this week, I spoke on the House floor about the Republican tax cut for millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations. Republicans gave health insurance companies billions in new tax breaks. Despite this, insurance companies are raising premiums by 10% or more, which will more than wipe out any savings for middle class families. And because the tax cuts for the richest Americans and biggest corporations are not paid for Republicans are borrowing $1.5 trillion to pay for it. They’ve already said they’ll cut hundreds of billions of dollars from programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security to pay for it.

The American people deserve a better deal. Click here to watch my remarks on the House floor right now.

Dear David,

Do you know what proportion of modern slavery victims are women and girls?

This International Women’s Day, we are standing up for women and girls like Phoebe*who was forced into the commercial sex trade at just 15 years old.[1] Women and girls make up 71% of all modern slavery victims.[2] Join us and demand 'Freedom For Girls'!

We are speaking out for young women like Latifa from Lebanon – who at 19 was forced to marry the middle-aged man who raped her[3] – and calling for Lebanon to abolish all of its laws that perpetuate the exploitation of young women and girls through forced marriage.

Join us and stand in solidarity with Malokhat, the human rights monitor who is constantly targeted, harassed and detained for her work shedding light on egregious human rights violations and forced labor in Uzbekistan’s cotton industry.[4] Tell Uzbekistan to drop all charges against Malokhat.

Right now, you can take critical action to help end modern slavery. Mark Women’s Day and add your voices to these campaigns. If you already have, share them and encourage others to add their voices too.

These real life stories represent the wide scope of how women and girls are disproportionately affected by modern slavery. Whether forced to sell sex, forced to marry or targeted and persecuted for helping prevent slavery, women and girls are at greater risk of harm.

So today we say their names: Malokhat, Latifa, Phoebe – along with the names of countless women and girls who endure trafficking, exploitation, threat and fear every day – and commit to taking action.

We thank you for tirelessly joining us in the fight against slavery. There’s still much work to do and this International Women’s Day we know we can count on you to keep the momentum going.

Thanks for your support,

Joanna, Alex, Miriam, Katina and the entire team at Freedom United.

Dino Rossi on LGBTQ equality. CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE JASON RITTEREISER

David,

Recently, a Wenatchee World reporter asked Dino Rossi about critical issues facing voters -- including Trump’s rollback of anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ people.

Dino’s response? He dismissed the question, saying “regular folks” don’t care. His complete disregard for the needs of the people in this district is stunning.

That’s why I’m on Jason’s team. In his work, he takes on powerful interests to protect people facing discrimination. Jason works for everything Dino is against.

Let’s be honest, Dino’s comments don’t come as a big surprise given his track record of opposing equality.

As the Wenatchee World points out, in one early campaign Dino attacked his opponent for being a “strong proponent of gay rights.” He even voted for Washington’s Defense of Marriage Act.
