    EMILYS LIST- BREAKING: A great night in Texas.

    EMILY's List

    David,

    Veronica Escobar and Sylvia Garcia won their primary elections outright. Texas has never sent a Latina to Congress, and they could both be the first.

    Our other candidates — Gina Ortiz Jones, Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, and Lillian Salerno — are advancing to run-off elections on May 22nd. Their races are top opportunities to turn red House seats blue, and we know our women are the right candidates to defeat Republicans.

    All five of these women were running in crowded primaries, so these results are a testament to the strong support of this community.

    But we can't rest on our laurels. Gina, Lizzie, and Lillian need your help to win their runoffs. And we still have dozens of other women in competitive primaries across the country.

    Let's show them we've still got their backs.

    Thanks — and go team!

    Emily Cain
    Executive Director, EMILY's List

    QUICK HITTER: AN ACT OF DESPERATION?

    Trump, False, Fake, Deception, Ruse

    The following is my opinion, based upon Articles and Posts I have published about Donald Trump
    since he announced his candidacy for President. Given his past behavior, I offer the following;

    THAT DONALD TRUMPS DECISION TO INCREASE IMPORT TAXES ON FOREIGN IMPORTS OF STEEL AND ALUMINUM, MAY BE HIS INITIAL MANEUVER TO FORCE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN PROTECTING HIM FROM POSSIBLE LEGAL AND/OR POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES THAT MAY STEM FROM Special Counsel Robert S. Muellers III  INVESTIGATION AND PROBE.

    Given the amount of Shock and Outrage that the Republcan Party has exhibited since the initial announcement, this "ACTION" was unexpected. With the resignation of Gary Cohn as the White Houses top Economic Advisor, we are left wondering what prompted this decision?

    Has Donald Trump seen the handwriting on the wall, realizing that it may be only a matter of time before the Probe focuses on his knowledge of RUSSIAS INVOLVEMENT IN DETERMINING THE OUTCOME OF THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. So, is DONALD TRUMP warning the GOP THAT HE IS PREPARED TO HURT THEM WHERE IT COUNTS THE MOST: THE WALLETS OF THEIR SUPPORTERS.
