Restoring faith in our government. CONG. CAND. JOSH WELLE.

Hi David --

In September 2017 I announced that I am running for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District. I’ve dedicated my life to serving my country and putting my community first. Now, I hope to continue that service in the House of Representatives.
After graduating from the Naval Academy, I deployed to Afghanistan, the Middle East, and Asia to protect our country and preserve our values. You’ve seen, as I have, the fabric of the very society we fought to protect become fraught and frayed. I believe we deserve to have faith in our government again.

That’s why I’m running to represent New Jersey’s Fourth District in the House of Representatives.
My hometown congressman, Chris Smith, doesn’t represent the middle class, hasn’t held a town hall in over 23 years, and holds no positions of leadership in Congress. He has done nothing to stop the assaults on the working people and families of Central New Jersey.
I am running for Congress because Washington is broken and it is going to take new ideas and new people to fix it.

Our campaign is about bringing integrity back to politics and working with others to provide concrete solutions to complex problems. It’s about working across the aisle, putting ethical principles first, and exercising political pragmatism. Mostly, it’s about finding innovative and fresh ways to make government work for all Americans.

It’s going to be a challenge to unseat a 36-year incumbent, but with your support, I’m confident we can succeed.
Thank you,
Josh Welle

Playing Politics. U.S. SENATOR JEANNE SHAHEEN.

David: Right now, Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are just hours away from shutting down our entire government.

Why? Because they're more interested in playing politics than in doing what's right.

Republicans refuse to protect the nearly 700,000 Dreamers who came to this country as children, provide adequate resources to end the opioid crisis or reauthorize the Children's Health Insurance Program. It’s absolutely unacceptable.

No matter what, I’m going to keep fighting until midnight strikes. But with only hours to go, I want to know where you stand:

Thank you,

Jeanne

MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY MESSAGES.

WE ARE CALLED.
CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE KEN HARBAUGH.
David --
Today, all across this nation, Americans are joining together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. They are marching, they are serving -- they are lifting their voices in prayer, song, and praise.
Dr. King’s legacy means many things to many people – the power of nonviolence, freedom, light shining in darkness. But what I am thinking about most today is this: we cannot sit quietly in the face of injustice. We must have courage. We must take a stand. We must find our voices andfight.
Now, more than ever, it’s time to speak out -- organize, write letters to the editor, and engage in conversations with love in our hearts.
On this national day of service and remembrance, may each of us find the kind of courage Dr. King embodied. May we stand, sing, fight -- and win!
Happy MLK Day, everyone.
In service,
Ken.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King taught us that we have to show up.
CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE  JASON RITTEREISER.

David --

Each year, we mark Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with a three-day weekend. Let’s remember to use some of that extra downtime to think about what this day stands for.
This year, it’s especially important to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and lessons. This day serves as a reminder that our democracy is fragile. Progress in combating hate and racism isn’t guaranteed to move forward -- it demands work.
We must never grow complacent. We must strive to bend the arc of moral justice. We must consistently show up and focus on creating and sustaining equality.
If we don’t, then progress is far from guaranteed. And as we’ve seen in the last year, it’s all too easy for reactionary leadership to turn back the clock and reverse hard-fought advances.
Throughout my career, I’ve sought to advance progress by taking up civil rights cases, protecting workers’ rights, and fighting for equality. We must champion these causes and values in Congress.
But you don’t have to be in Congress or a courtroom to help combat hate and create equality. We can all find ways to live Dr. King’s lessons and make the struggle for justice and equality a part of our daily lives.
I’m taking time today to reflect on the ways I can do more in 2018. I hope you'll join me.

- JASON.

ARC BENDERS.

U.S. SENATOR CORY BOOKER.

David,

Today we honor and remember the late Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy.

I often think about Dr. King’s quote: “The arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice.” Today we should all recommit to being arc benders—and as arc benders, it’s our obligation to remain vigilant in the struggle for justice.

It can be overwhelming with so many important issues requiring our urgent attention. But we cannot allow our inability to do everything undermine our determination to do something.

So today, in the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. and the fight for justice, I urge you to continue to take action to make America a nation of liberty and justice for all.

No action in the cause for justice, no matter how small, is wasted.

Thanks,

Cory.

FEATURE ARTICLES. THE SOCIOPATH- A DANGER ALL AROUND US. PT 23.

FEATURE ARTICLES.

THE SOCIOPATH-  A DANGER ALL AROUND US.  PT 23.

Now I can understand the Incredulity of many people.  "How can they fool so many, for so long?  Some People must really be GULLIBLE."

(I Find this Claim to be Fascinating, considering the QUALITY OF SOME POLITICIANS WHO KEEP GETTING RE-ELECTED BY THE SAME CONSTITUENCIES. But that's another story.)

However, you have to understand that you are Trying to Comprehend an INDIVIDUAL WHO DOESN'T LOOK OR PERCEIVE THE WORLD AROUND THEM THE SAME WAY OTHERS DO.

What do I mean by this statement? Consider the following;

What if at a Young Age you came to Realize that things that Cause Emotional Stress in Others, do not Affect You. What if you came to Understand that by not having these feelings, it gives you an Advantage to Obtain Things you want, without the Remorse and Guilt that plagues everyone else. Emotions and Feelings that others exhibit after participating in events that occur in every day life are things you cannot identify with.

When people discuss such concepts as the JOYS OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, EARNING RESPECT FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, LOVING UNCONDITIONALLY etc., you just smile and nod, all the while not understanding why others put such emphasis on feelings that are alien to you.

If such Personality Traits are never Acquired or Developed to any real depth, Life becomes one GIANT CONTEST IN DECEPTION,  AND USING THOSE AROUND YOU LIKE OBJECTS, INSTEAD OF RATIONAL BEINGS WHOSE FEELINGS SHOULD BE RESPECTED.

Maybe the Lack of Positive Personality Traits becomes Apparent to your Parents, who come to the Conclusion that Psychological Counseling and Therapy may help Your Personality Development from Becoming Arrested at a Young Age, where it would Remain Unaltered for the rest of your life.  If not your Parents, perhaps a Teacher or Child Care Worker sees what is happening, maybe through your Interactions with Playmates, and seeks Immediate Intervention to get you the Help you need.

However, you feel this HELP is not needed. "There is nothing wrong" you tell yourself. The Weaknesses of Others should not be pressed upon you.  Every day you learn about  Self- Centered Leaders abusing the Trust of others, and they're not being forced into Counselling or Therapy.  So why are you being punished?

Look for the next Post on this subject.
