FEATURE ARTICLES.

THE SOCIOPATH-  A DANGER ALL AROUND US.  PT 23.

Now I can understand the Incredulity of many people.  "How can they fool so many, for so long?  Some People must really be GULLIBLE."

(I Find this Claim to be Fascinating, considering the QUALITY OF SOME POLITICIANS WHO KEEP GETTING RE-ELECTED BY THE SAME CONSTITUENCIES. But that's another story.)

However, you have to understand that you are Trying to Comprehend an INDIVIDUAL WHO DOESN'T LOOK OR PERCEIVE THE WORLD AROUND THEM THE SAME WAY OTHERS DO.

What do I mean by this statement? Consider the following;

What if at a Young Age you came to Realize that things that Cause Emotional Stress in Others, do not Affect You. What if you came to Understand that by not having these feelings, it gives you an Advantage to Obtain Things you want, without the Remorse and Guilt that plagues everyone else. Emotions and Feelings that others exhibit after participating in events that occur in every day life are things you cannot identify with.

When people discuss such concepts as the JOYS OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, EARNING RESPECT FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, LOVING UNCONDITIONALLY etc., you just smile and nod, all the while not understanding why others put such emphasis on feelings that are alien to you.

If such Personality Traits are never Acquired or Developed to any real depth, Life becomes one GIANT CONTEST IN DECEPTION,  AND USING THOSE AROUND YOU LIKE OBJECTS, INSTEAD OF RATIONAL BEINGS WHOSE FEELINGS SHOULD BE RESPECTED.

Maybe the Lack of Positive Personality Traits becomes Apparent to your Parents, who come to the Conclusion that Psychological Counseling and Therapy may help Your Personality Development from Becoming Arrested at a Young Age, where it would Remain Unaltered for the rest of your life.  If not your Parents, perhaps a Teacher or Child Care Worker sees what is happening, maybe through your Interactions with Playmates, and seeks Immediate Intervention to get you the Help you need.

However, you feel this HELP is not needed. "There is nothing wrong" you tell yourself. The Weaknesses of Others should not be pressed upon you.  Every day you learn about  Self- Centered Leaders abusing the Trust of others, and they're not being forced into Counselling or Therapy.  So why are you being punished?

Look for the next Post on this subject.

On National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Joanna Ewart-James, Freedom United. (team@freedomunited.org)

Dear David,

This National Human Trafficking Awareness Month act to help protect youth in the U.S. who are vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation. Whilst some have participated in sleep outs, we are asking...do this small but important act to help power our voice to secure the introduction of legislation to improve protections for our vulnerable homeless and runaway youth.

A new study released last month reveals the shocking extent of youth homelessness across the United States.[1] Because of their vulnerability and inadequate support, homeless and runaway children and youth often go unnoticed, quietly trafficked into forced labor or the commercial sex industry.

Congress has the power to help prevent child trafficking.

Introducing the Runaway and Homeless Youth and Trafficking Prevention Act (RHYTPA) will be a step toward improving services and protections for homeless youth either experiencing or at high-risk of trafficking.

Call on Congress to help prevent child trafficking and introduce the RHYTPA!

With season’s greetings,

Joanna and Alex and the teams at Freedom United and National Network for Youth.

COTY'S STORY. CONG. CAND. JASON RITTEREISER.

Hi David --

Did you see Coty’s video this week? If not, I hope you’ll take a minute to watch it (below) -- Coty’s an extraordinarily courageous woman, and I was proud to help her seek justice after she faced discrimination from her employer.

We’ve seen over the last few months that despite hard-fought progress, gender discrimination in the workplace is still the day-to-day reality for too many women. It’s vital that we hear their voices -- so I want to share Coty’s story with as many people as I can.

Jason

Dear David,

When college professor Coty Richardson found out she was pregnant, she didn’t feel any need to hide it from the administrators at her university. After all, why should she?

But when Coty shared the news with her employers, their response was not just unexpected -- it was beyond unfair, and she felt certain she was discriminated against.

So she courageously spoke out and fought back. And she chose Jason to stand up for her in court.

“He’s got the fight in him. He’s not going to back down. He believes in what he’s fighting for.” -- Coty Richardson

This is the 21st century. No worker should face discrimination on the basis of gender, pregnancy, or marital status -- but too many still do. That’s why Jason has spent his career fighting for women like Coty -- and he’ll keep up the fight in Congress.

All our best,

-- Team Jason

Let’s congratulate Rep. Faso! CONG. CAND. PAT RYAN.

David --

Congratulations are in order for the 19th District’s own John Faso!

With Darrell Issa’s retirement, Faso just moved up to #2 on Roll Call’s list of the most vulnerable members of the House.

It’s not easy to earn this kind of national distinction -- let’s take a look back at how Faso did it:

  • Voted to strip healthcare coverage away from tens of thousands of his own constituents
  • Voted to roll back consumer protection and Wall Street reform measures designed to prevent another Great Recession
  • Failed to stop Trump and Paul Ryan from taking money out of our pockets to give their billionaire friends a tax cut

...tell Faso congratulations -- and we’re coming for him.

-- Team Ryan
